The culprit isn't even revealed in this game, so definietly not Ryukishi once said he COULD end the game with EP 6, but I doubt he will.

Spoiler for Dark tower series:

I didn't like that.... but I'm liking the idea of Ms. AuAu writing the stories for some reason. Mainly because AuAu isn't Ryukishi07.

So maybe everything on the gameboard is the account of a Hanyuu-wannabe fiction-writer based on an actual murder as part of some grander scheme?

Or maybe it's the account of another person's account.

Ryukishi07 has crossed so far over the line, there's no way I'm quitting this thing.

I love it.

Maybe Hanyuu Auau is the in game character of his deceased friend, B-T. The fact that her name is Featherinne might mean feathers-wings... angel wings maybe... And I'm sure Ryukishi told him the truth we can't grasp before... well, you know.

Done. Could only understand bits and pieces, but done. It has answered some questions, and brought up even more, but in particular I'd like to point out;
1) Battler's sin - It seems to be he broke a promise to Beatrice, six years earlier on Rokkenjima of course. What was happening around then? Asumu's death. I think it's likely he somehow met her on the island during a visit and promised he would come back to see her, or something to that tune, but when Asumu died he forgot his promise and went to live with his grandparents, not returning for six years and forgetting he had ever met her in that time.

2) The two Beatrice's - From the end of Episode 4 it looked like suit-Beatrice and gown-Beatrice might be two different people, but this episode seems to confirm that, they have conversations together (and the "onee-sama" thing...) and appear to others at the same time. Maybe they're the daughters of human-Beatrice, or maybe dress-Beatrice IS human-Beatrice while suit-Beatrice survived and is her sister...? Something along those lines maybe... I couldn't understand enough to say much else though but I doubt they're just there to keep Meta-Battler happy.

3) Culprit = Kyrie? - I would basically just be repeating everything Marion said earlier, but I've been suspicious of her for quite a while and each game just seems to add another reason it may be her....

So just wondering... has the "Shannon pony theory" been completely shot down in this episode, because a lot of the things I've been reading are really not pleasant for it, particularly if Shkanon is actually true?

And THAT is why I ain't stopping now:

Umineko still has things to offer.

It's just that too many people were intimidated by random spoilers.

And that this is episode is said to shift away from the actual solving of the mystery.

I shall cut through all the fake spoiler since I am getting a real game now.

Though I don't even have Japanese language Level 4 proficiency...

With the 2nd part, the two Beatos are creations Battler made. The first one was accidentally created - he attempted to revive Beatrice, rather than create a new one, but he messed up and created a very moe Beato with no memories. He basically flipped out when he found out she wasn't Beatrice.

Then he tried again and created a second Beatrice (the long haired suit Beato). Rather than being a moeblob like the first, she's far more closer to the original Beatrice as she has all her memories. But the problem with her is that she's still not enough like Beatrice. She doesn't have that charming side that moeblob Beato has basically. This is why the moeblob Beato calls her onee-sama (older sister) because that's essentially what she is. This Beatrice gets deleted later in the game, because Battler doesn't see any use for her and regards her as a failed Beatrice.

Battler in EP 6 is a very far cry from Battler in EP 1-5. Best way to describe him: it's as if anime Battler took his place. He's very angry, but at the same time VERY melodramatic. His love for Beatrice is slowly heading towards Kinzo insanity and I'm very worried for what Ryukishi is planning to do with his character. He gets a lot better later into the game, but he was generally a prick the entire game.

The moe-Beatrice said thing just like 1967-Beatrice, who said she did not know why she was born, and extremely innocent.

IMO, it was a hint that there were two Beatrices in the realworld and the 1967 Beatrice was real Beatrice's (mastermind) younger sister.

Again, I said all these because previously I speculated that Kyrie was 1952 Beatrice's daughter so 1967 Beatrice was indeed her younger sister.

Hokay, I've been "reading" for a couple hours now and I'd like to know if anyone could give me a point in how far I am.

Well the gameboard doesn't get to the 2nd twilight, but you're not very far into it. I don't think that's the halfway point.

The halfway point is Jessica's fight

Ok I'm just about to get into Ep6 in a few hours, and all this talk of a meta-Author inside meta-fiction inside fiction has got me perplexed.

And to those asking me how to make a text hooker work for the mac, sorry I have no idea at all. My experience with macs are practically nil.

One little question. The whole deal with Tōya/Featherine was a delusion of Ange, right? I mean, I understand Tōya the human author. But Featherine the witch is a bit odd.
