Calculating how long this show is against the speed of which they tell it, I'd say that the only important thing that will happen this season is Horizon being rescued.

The vast majority really don't. Personally while I do research shows I'm watching to get more out of them, I think it's harsh to expect all viewers to do the same.

I can't use her as an avatar again. She was the first avatar I had for Fall 2011, and they used that scene again here in this ep, but to use that avatar again seems.... weird

Well I recalled that Kyon and his wife said that they only had a relatively small force guarding Horizon, and they were taking any possible attack by the Far East as a real threat.
