Yeah, At that time the real pilot for the prototype is saluting their captain and got killed by the blast this somewhere around ep 1 of SEED series i think.

As for SEED Destiny prototype...maybe they still searching or training for the pilot????

In the first episode of GSD, you can clearly see that there are three coordinaters wearing red pilot suits, in the hanger with Chaos, Abyss, and Gaia.

About Mwu, even though the got transfered to the piloting academy, it's been implied that he would have become the pilot of the Gunbarrel Dagger, if he didn't go AWOL.

Yeah. But it's better that he got Strike anyway. Gunbarrel Dagger looks ugly. I still wish that he beat Crueset. I feel like he kind of went out in a punkish kind of way.

And ditto about the coordinators wearing the red pilot suits. I had to watch it again to see them. You'd think they'd be assigned to the Minerva though. I thought Minerva was meant to hold the Gundams as well.

No way, Gunbarrel Dagger>Strike, any day. Gunbarrel Dagger would have been cool, Mwu would have been better in it, I think, because of it's similairty to his old Moebius Zero.

Oh yeah i remember seeing 3 guy wearing red clothing and each got shot by the 3 druggies. Man its in front of my eyes and i didn't pay a hell of attention to it since my eyes only focuses on the three Gundams
