What's so fun about Karaoke?

I think karaoke is improving the mood of the people around you. As long as that's the attitude you take, how well you sing is not the most important thing. The worst thing you can do is to stand there sufferring from embarrassment while trying to sing... it makes everyone very uncomfortable.

That's the same with me. I have a wretched singing voice, but I enjoy going out with a group of friends (or strangers for that matter) and wallowing in my hideous singing. Nobody really cares. The people that sing well don't make fun of those that can't (at least, not in front of them). It's another group activity that I find enjoyable. Like bowling.

Hell, it beats yard work anyway.
