I wouldn't mind if someone would make a thread where people could discuss what AMG is about and the message the writers have been trying to send about feelings and trust vs. sex, lust, drugs, fighting, general trouble making. Hard for me to talk about those things but the series always makes me feel more connected with that part of myself that's not cool to talk about.

Has there been any official announcements about a season 3? I don't want to create a thread if all it's based on is pure speculation.

No official announcement as of yet, only time there's even been a hint of a season 3 was when the director, Hiroaki Goda, said that he was eager to animate as much of manga as possible. So while the director is willing, there's been no official announcement yet on whether it's going to happen or not.

I think it will happen eventually, but not for a while. AMG was license bait, but with the slow down in anime uptakes, and the big companies pulling a lot of their new titles, i think it'll have a knock on effect in japan. Shows which would of been done because they're license bait, will be slower to come about.

I had this idea while rewatching the first episode and it's not really about the series itself, but it does tie into it: a thread that simply asks "If Belldandy came out of YOUR mirror, what would your one wish be?" Dunno if it's a valid thread idea but I thought it might be interesting.

Given the age of the series I'm not sure there would be much activity in the discussion of the character design in Ah! My Goddess but feel free to create an opening post here in this thread and if it looks interesting then I'll split the post off and create a new thread (create the post as if it were the opening post of your suggested thread).

I notice that there isn't an Ah! My Goddess generic discussion thread in this forum (I suspect it might have been lost in the 2005 forum crash) so even we don't have a thread about the character design there is no reason not to create a general purpose AMG thread.
