I'm not talking about justification or likability. Akiyoshi made a comment I thought was wrong, that's all.

I think most of the arguments that start here are because people assume that we like the Huckebein while we try to understand them. Understand =/= like.

Oh I like them just fine. The real distinction is like =/= forgive what they do.

I don't understand how anyone could like them. I really don't.

Agreed. Other than the fact that Curren, Cypha and that other one whose name escapes me at the moment are hot, there's nothing to like about them.

But then there are people who like Voldemort, so...

Interesting points of view. Actually, i only really hate Cypha, the other Hucks are indifferent to me save for Fortis, i don't know why, but i find that guy incredibly annoying(i want to see him kiss the floor Quattro-style xD). But even if i dislike them i also find some of them kind of amusing, Curren is totally detestable but is a badass and a genius(unlike Fortis's "know-it-all" behavior, Curren has displayed feasible feats of cunningness and i already talked about how easily she out-badass Cypha). My Deville fanboyism already calmed down but i still find him as an "ok" character. Arnage and Stella are "meh" characters to me(too generic) and the only backstory among them i want to see are from Veyron ...and Cypha(i really want to know what kind of person she was pre-Eclipse).

So i despise them but also find them amusing to a degree, weird.

No, you just happened to be the one who said it. Though the fact you tend to exagerate things did play into it.

So no, they are nothing like most military.
That part was about Stella saying that the Hucks could hit a TSAB base in retaliation, nothing about civilians.
And Hayate arguing with a seven years old was one of her greatess moment.

And no, Aki, I am not saying what`s-her-name with you around.

So the nuns doesn't count as civilians? **Oh ye poor statistics, the price of not having names**

Maybe the same reason some people like the Joker (as in, not a villain you like to hate, but to genuinely like)?

Oh I like the Huckebein...inside a maximum security prison with magnetic boots to work together with magnetic floors, thousands of lightyears away from the nearest civilized world. And maybe sensory-deprivation tank for the likes of Cypha. And all their Dividers thrown and melted into a star.

The Hucks is basically like the Ardat-Yakshi, only they skip the sex and went straight to the killing.

At the time, the TSAB was placing the blame on Thoma for the nuns.
Nothing to do with that conversation anyway.

the loli's rant was that "The Hucks would start attacking TSAB bases if they wouldn't let the Hucks alone and let them continue to commit minor offenses" - minor offenses like killing people whenever their urge kicks in, like the case with the church.

The Hucks knew Veyron was responsible for the church massacre, and for them, it was Tuesday. Without the advantage of being played by Raul Julia

Like the Hucks keep track of each others...
Fortis didn`t even know why Cypha want back after Thoma and no one had a clue where Curren was.
I`m pretty sure Veyron told Stella his day in every bloody little details.
You are making this too easy, you know.

i'm not sure either was proven as fact. I was under the impression they were accused and cypha just wanted a fight so did no deny it

man, this is old hat, why are we 4 chapters ago?

They do, actually. Fortis brought out their records to confirm where they were when Thoma's village was destroyed.

What Raiser said. Furthermore, what crime did you think would make the TSAB send their elites, stealing food? An EC infected person cannot live without killing, Fortis already said so, and these guys have existed for a while meaning they've already killed at least a few. And even if they didn't keep track of every tiny detail, all of them knew of this fact, and yet only consider these as minor offense.

That is why Hayate responded to the "rant" with saying how "if we let you escape, someone else will be killed somewhere."

I think Veyron said that he and Curren never want there in chap 17...
But also said that Thoma`s descriptions match him and Curren`s perfectly.
I don`t have an answer for you here.
Maybe Fortis can`t read a police report.

The Hucks are being hunted as a side-effect of the investigation on the Eclipse.
Several of the crimes blamed on the Hucks are not really their to begin with.

So? Really, being accused of a crime you didn't commit doesn't automatically negate crimes that you did in fact do. If the guy from The Fugitive was a bank robber, not killing his wife wouldn't make him not a bank robber.

It's not like the Bureau really has the resources to go after more of these people considering just one group was able to beat up all the Aces, either.

I think Stella was saying "Don't you have some bigger, world ending problem to solve rather than dealing with a few deaths?" Like pouring tons of resources into catching a killer rather than using them to thwart a huge terrorist attack.

No, they said that they were there. They just weren't the ones who destroyed the place.
