I was waiting for Touma to get kicked in the nuts, but then it never happened. I guess it's not surprising considering he dodged electricity the novel before. It would be kind of strange if his reflexes were not up to par to at least that kick. Shiage is awesome, MacGuyver on steroids indeed.

But yeah, Mikoto can't Awaken because she doesn't share the angelic qualities and origins as Accelerator and Kakine's powers.

However, it's probable she'll learn some new tricks and new values will enter her Personal Reality over the next books. So she'll get a power up, but that's not Awakening.

I think I got it now. For one, I haven't read any passage in the Bible that says God struck people with lightning. Rather, I read that He burnt people alive in the Old Testament.

Why is it that every time someone mentions how special Accelerator and Kakine's abilities are, I can't help but feel that it's a product of a long-line of misconception or mistranslation from the earlier dark days before our current Renaissance era
