I really want to play it, but the game is just too large. The client is 1.5 gigs and after installation, it will be 3.2 gigs. However, I might decide to play it only after a more finalized version is available. Don't like beta builds.

3GB too large?

In a more serious note, I applied during the weekend for a beta key, still waiting for it

Oh so THIS is the Megaten game... I heard it being mentioned in DOMO's Shoutbox but I didn't know what it was

Never played Shin Megami Tensei though. Hmmmm.

I still have to see how it is. But judging a series of games based on a MMORPG is usually not the best thing to do, i.e Warcraft and Final Fantasy.

Anyway, I don't know if that interesting is good or bad, but if you liked the art and setting, you should give it a try to any of the PS2 games.

Unless your circumstances are similar to krisslanza's and whatnot, but they are really worth the time and money.

YEAS! I've been waiting for this forever. After suffering through the post Nocturne spinoffs, it's nice to see a real Megaten game (even though it's an MMO).

Now what alignment to pick...

Just so those who have applied for the closed beta Aeria have just started sending out notifications to those who have been accepted to partake in the closed beta test (of which I am one of the chosen), but their still sending them out so those who haven't gotten in yet might still get in.

The client is actually just under 1.3GB (1307.72MB according to firefox) and I've still got an hour plus until it's downloaded.

This looks rather interesting. SMT games were always unique and this will probably be no exception. Not sure if I'll play it though, not fan of online games but I might give it a try if it proves to be THAT good.

You don't have to wait for a beta key, you can play without one and in the filefront link there is a beta key (in the first part of the site they give you a beta key.

About the game.....the feature of fuse demons and get unique demons is quite original for online games. Also, the battle system...is not as easy as "attack, kill, get drops" its more fun since the monsters can defend/counter.

I got to level 6, completed my quest with the Leader Fairy, bought some new clothes, put some emo-glasses on and stuff, and now have 2 demons including the Fairy and the wounded Cerberus.

The game is cool as a Megaten game, but it is far from great for a mmorpg. I might keep playing up some more later, but the interest is not that high at the moment.

I did like the battle and skill systems tho.

Started playing and haven't found any real problems (though the game had a moment of untranslation at the end of the 'tutorial')

The game is real easy for me to play since it plays just like Mabinogi so the real-time/strategic battling is a piece of cake. Just got done with the VT so going to go out of Home III now...

I'm wondering what the fuss about beta codes and all that was really about, because after taking the survey and waiting, I never ran into any of that while getting into the game.

Also, Pixies are more evil than I thought them to be. "Hello." "DIE!" But I had captured a Hua Po who was unexpectedly strong for the kind of demon it was. I looked in shock when it successfully defended me. O_O
