Also, I only just noticed that Quinn reacts by cutting her wrist. That's...that's nice.
To be fair some of the Hucks also react when cutting themselves. Cypha and DeVille did it.

Actually, she doesn't cut her wrist; it's closer to the elbow joint.

Nah, that's her "I'm with family" face. We've seen it before.

Persona inspirations, perhaps?

Also Touma is hilarious in this chapter.

"You can't kill people!"

"Why?"

"...because!"

Signum and Cypha do care for Touma.

Signum+Cypha: BACK OFF, TOUMA!
Signum: ...
Cypha: ...
Touma: In unison?
Signum+Cypha: QUIET!

That face he made was pretty inappropriate considering what these two want to do to each-other.

Thoma was already inappropriate when he asked Signum to be nice with the woman that almost cut her in half while trying to rescue him no less. Awkward at the very least.

And his speech to Cypha is just the stuff of legends. This will make him in the same level as Shirou Emiya in the anime version of Fate/Stay Night

To be fair, not killing when you can capture is.... kind of a TSAB policy. Everyone on the TSAB side is going to be trying capture first, kill only when necessary (which at current count is.... never).

Is not that he doesn't kill is how he say it.

"You can't kill!"

"Why?"

"Because I say so"

It just sounds like a parody of this type of speeches about not killing because is the right thing to do or whatever. I think is funny.

I don't think the translation is keeping up with the raw, but... what's the newest chapter in japan?

I'm not bagging on the sentiment, just the fact it's a dumb line. Could they not think of anything else?

He was put on the spot. Perhaps it's because he remembered that the Huckebein need to kill to survive, so he can't just tell her "Killing is wrong!" because while that sentiment is true, he knows its not an option for them.

I agree that he seriously fumbled there, though.

Nah, he just doesn't want to see needless slaughter. I'd probably go: "Don't needlessly kill her."

Yeah, well, it wouldn't quite be "needless" for Cypha, because she would benefit from it, in a way.
