It was nice. I liked both the OP and ED song. The episode also gave Aomine more screen time and lol, Kagami gets into a fight already...

Good potential for this season and I think this show is a 2 cour. Hope to see they adapt the most important parts since I am actually looking forward to it. Actually now that I think about it, the OST is pretty catchy too this season.

Same composer as the second season. I was a little worried seeing that, and there was still the overuse of dramatic bgm for the first half of the episode, but I liked what was used in the second half. Whether the bgm is upbeat or overly melodramatic (as it was in most of the second season) really affects the tone of the episodes.

I also liked how they threw in easter eggs in the OP and ED for manga readers again. They were subtle enough that non-readers won't notice them, but we can enjoy knowing what's to come.

but they are done a good job in re-capping what have been going on previous season
and Haizaki is also as intimidating and irritating as in manga

looking forward for the adaptation and pacing. I don't really like to watch Kise's match though.. only here to watch Seirin

That interview was just a way to do a recap.
A new dangerous character makes an appearance.
Looks like it's a blast from the past.
That guy should make things more interesting in the future.
Will be watching this like all the previous seasons ^^

I'm really glad that we're already in the second half of this match; things seem to be moving quick. As for Haizaki, this guy's a textbook douche. Shitting on teammates and even hitting them is just not cool. And it looks like the game has already begun once the flashback ended. I hope the score isn't too bad

After seeing the latest episode, I want to smack Haizaki. His skills are pretty good but the guy needs an attitude adjustment. Good episode though. I like how the show managed to portray the fear expression on Kise's face with him realizing how hopeless he is during the flashbacks.

After seeing this episode... Guess they're not going to finish the series with this season. So much filler! I had thought that IG would try to finish the match this ep, and the rest of the semi-finals in the first cour, which is possible if they adapt ~3 chapters/episode, but it doesn't look like that's the case anymore. ~Sigh~

Well, unless you read the manga, you wouldn't really have been able to tell what was filler anyway, so no harm done. Let's just hope the pacing for the rest of the episodes doesn't become overly stretched. Maybe this means they will properly adapt that certain arc everyone's waiting for.

Damn, that Shougo is so easy to hate.
Kise vs Shougo! Wonder who's team is gonna win.
One this is true, Shougo sure can play & is fast too.
The game was intense, but enjoyable.
Shougo's older look/hair style was way cooler than this one.
Wonder why they changed it..
Kise is gonna have to overcome himself to win this thing.

Glad to have Dragon Ball K(uroko) back.

I have to say I found myself wishing to have the ability to transport myself into the anime and bash Shougos face in, really hoping he gets humiliated in the worse way possible, I really hate a-hole like him.

Not going to lie, I'm a pretty big fan of Kise now after watching that fierce match. What a way to adapt some of the other Generation of Miracles' moves. Spectacular!
