Is that jpeg artifacts or is the stock like that for the sig? Might be quality for size though. Like the composition of it and the theme. A bit too much sharpen maybe.

As for the header, good quality and color managment but I think the background could use some more work. However, Appleseed <3

Thanks for the comments. The sig is a phail all the way through. I overdid it...
I may have to see what to do with the header BG it's indeed a bit bland...

Anyway a photo update for now. Strolled around an old railway depot until my camera battery died somewhat unexpectedly cutting the expedition short.

Spoiler for size:

Thanks. As Dan-kun pointed out did some adjustments to the squares and their outlines, some levels and saturation tweaks as well. Nothing drastic.

Thanks. I'm thinking of reworking them a bit to see if I can increase the image quality. Now that's about as large as I can go without them looking pretty awful.

A small update:

SotM final entry. (As posted before, ended up entering it as it is.)

You never cease to amaze me with your brush collection. Nice color pallete...and view.

Too bad there's no option to anti-alias layer strokes. Would have looked even better that way.

Oh, good luck with the SOTM, btw.

Yeah, Level tweaks made it even worse. Oh well. Didn't bother me all that much. Thanks for the comment.

And finally something I'm fairly happy about. Spicing up my new netbook. Actually quite like how this wallie turned out. Shame it's such a crappy resolution.

Love those photos from 8/8. Great perspective and colors overall.

For the SOTM, I have to say I'm not a fan of the border. I think it degrades the rest of it which is on the other hand very nice. The border makes it different but in this case I don't think it fits.

And the wallpapers, quite <3
