We're all to busy competing over Clannad to have time for any Kitaro :)
Seriously though, if Kitaro gets its own sub-forum here on animesuki (impossible condition set), we'll take requests on a per episode basis, via polls.
Every episode is a new story anyway, so vote for your favourite :D

Please Celes! You've already proven you have the power to get any lost anime subbed. If you saved Gallery Fake, surely you can rescue Kitaro. You can count me as already signed up for editor.

Sadly, chances of a Kitaro sub-forum are ZERO. It would be practically empty.

Progress is progress....but even episodic shows are best watched in the order they were done. Too bad Oedipus seems to have vanished, they did a right nice job on Ep 1 of this.

Here's hoping it somehow all works out!~

It's never ceases to amaze me how those smut harem shows always seem to get their own forums.

Seriously though, let's not dismiss the idea of a Kitaro forum too quickly.
I understand the next noitamina series after Moyashimon is Hakaba Kitaro, an adapation of the original 1959 manga.
I also understand that there are individuals who may be interested in subbing said show into English.
And since we all know "Noitamina = profit", perhaps the idea of a Kitaro forum isn't too far fatched after all.

Alternatively, we could have a sub-forum for classics, comprising of works from, for example:
- World Masterpiece Theater
- Old Studio Ghibli
- Osamu Tezuka
- Immortal series like Doraemon, Sazae-san, Kitaro etc.
- Adaptations of classic novels/movies like The Snow Queen, Emily of New Moon etc. (Gankutsusou and Samurai 7 are highly debatable since they were heavily modified)

NSW, perhaps it might be worth discussing with your colleagues.
It'll be nice to have some measure of appreciation for the arts here at animesuki.
Everything is just so oriented towards smut these days

Additionally, I'd like to know what are the requirements before a show can have its own sub-forum.
I see some minor series have their own sub-forums, Kashimashi and Asatte no Houkou.
As far as total number of replies or download numbers go, a number of shows in the general anime seem to enjoy greater popularity, e.g. Dennou Coil, Heroic Age.
I'm almost led to believe it's based solely of staff preferences, though I'd like to reserve this conclusion.

A seprate subforum is a great idea but not a practical one IMHO . The reason being shows of this genre are not that popular , take Nube Mononoke etc etc . I whole heartedly agree with you on the smut harem part , kinda ticks me off when shows like XXXXX has 3 subbers and Kitaro not even one .

But before everything this show needs to get subbed first -onegai desu-

Kappas were awesome in this episode also Kitaro was really stylish with his words and mannerisms . if anyone is interested in Kappa based anime check this one out Kappa no Kaikata . Its 4min/per ep and its really humorous those of you who have pets you will enjoy it even more .

Oh gosh how I hated timing this episode. This Kitaro really isn't anything for me. Hakaba Go GO GO! GE Ge Ge= GEH! Or something.

[OZ & SkewedS] firstly a big thank you for releasing episode 4. I immensely enjoyed watching it. And hopefully you continue with good work ^__^

Bleh I came across dallasorlowski post just now and his/her last login was the same as post date . Would be cool though if they were the first 5 episodes from 68 : D

This may fall on deaf ears, but are there any teams working past episode 5 of the 2007 season? Or at the very least, anyone harboring raws?
