He doesn't graduate in the novels. Yet, anyway. Who knows about future spin-offs.

Does anyone know?
I think she was just responding to Kitamura's mood spoiler in kind.

Heads up: Chapter 5 of Volume 4 is finally complete! The whole volume could even be finished by the end of the month, maybe?

Hello, I am new to Toradora and i was wondering if the novels were different than the anime. I really enjoyed the anime and im planning on reading the novels, but i just want a heads up of possible events and such. What i am trying to ask is, does the anime stay true to the novel in everyway?

Thank you in advance for your answer

regards

They are pretty much the same except a lot of good stuff had to be left out to make it fit in a 25 episode anime which necessitated some changes. For instance, "The Legend of the Palmtop Tiger of Happiness" episode in the anime was funny, but the Novel chapter was hilarious. There was plenty of material for a 50 episode series.

Ahh, I'm so glad to finally be able to finish this book, thanks so much Trabius!

(It was finished a few days ago but because the front page wasn't edited no one noticed.)

So the ending is the same, and so on. ONly things left out were details and such. I inderstand, i hope i enjoy the novels as much as I liked the anime. Even thought i felt sorry for Amin and Minorin.

Ending wasn't the same. They didn't graduate yet in the novel. There was no 1 year time skip. I think alot was different really. Starting from episode 24 everything was done somewhat differently because they only had an outline of volume 10 to work with at the time.

On a side note, when you guys say "It's... it's complete! Volume 4 is finally done!!!" what are you refering to? The novel? Doenst baka-tsuki have up to volume 7??? If you guys have a better source i would love to hear about it so i can start reading asap.

Vol. 4 still wasn't fully translated when translation for Vols. 6 and 7 began.

I see. But still, you guys are talking about the volumes from Baka-tsuki, correct?

As a side questions, Since i am guessing there is still no translation for the last 3 volumes, there is no way to know the actual ending as of right now, correct?

Edit: Now that I look into it, Volume 5 is not done either. I wonder why they skipped 2 volumes and did 6 and 7.

Because there's like 5 translators working on them.

There's summaries all across this thread. Look for posts by a user named "roan".

Is there any hint at all in the light novel as far as Taiga's birthday? (month wise)
I've been trying to figure out her birthday for awhile.

When would Ryuuji's be? He states he would be 18 two months sometime soon after Christmas..but wouldn't Taiga also have to be 18 to marry as well?

Men have to be 18, women 16. It's a wacky society!

Also, you have to be 20 to actually get married without parental consent, so it's a bit incomprehensible why he's so hung up on 18.
