Kyaa~ I was so happy when I found out that KwMs! is getting an anime adaptation. It definitely needed one, I say.

I'm giving my hopes up for a good production studio for this one, they better do it well! As for VAs... for Usui? Fukuyama Jun plz. lol. But it doesn't really matter as long as this VA happens to do a good job with the characters.

Can't wait for more details.

That would really be interesting. I thought Brain's Base might have gotten their hands on another LaLa manga after Natsume Yuujinchou's success, but maybe this reasoning doesn't apply as both series are completely different. Both of the studios would be great to see take on this adaptation anyway.

Sanae Kobayashi as the lead would also be a huge plus, were she to be retained for the anime.

The adaptation I'd really love to see one day would be an Otomen anime with the Ouran team. If only...

I watched the first episode of Otomen dorama, they adapted in a way that makes it a romance, when the actual manga was more just plain comedy. Let's just say, I wasn't very happy about it. Otomen anime with Ouran team would be amazing.

If we asume they're not trolling us, this could air during winter or next spring. So an announcement on which animation company is working on it should be near.

I always thought Fukuyama Jun for Usui would be a good idea, but the drama CD cast sounds good to me. So if they keep it, I will not complain.

That truly would be a dream come true. Bones would do wonders with that source material.

Still, and actually adaptation of Otomen would be good enough. That's just a huge bonus.

It's kinda disappointing that the producer didn't have Jun Fukuyama as Usui Takumi's VA

Since he resembles Kei Takeshima so much both appearance and personality.

Well Tomokazu Sugita's voice is also fine but a bit soft. -.-

After seeing all of these recommendations for Jun Fukuyama ... I need to experience some more of his roles. Right now, I only find his range going from sweet shota to haughty (with a bit of pretentiousness tossed in).

In the drama CDs. Sugita sold his Usui to me on how smoothly he transitioned from playful teasing Usui to serious/seductive Usui.

You know ... I can definitely see Fukuyama as Igarashi Tora, though.

Well with Fukuyama Jun, the seiyuu jokes would be...extra fun. I mean, who didn't get the joke 'Takishima, just geass her already!' in Special A. Fukuyama Jun is absolutely amazing playing a bastard, shota and a nice guy type (lelouch in normal mode). At the end of the day, I just like his voice, being a totally biased fangirl.

@Jun Fukuyama fans
I don't understand why most of you prefer Fukuyama for Usui since Tomokazu Sugita from Drama CD did the voice of Usui very well. Maybe we're all Bias for however we want for Usui VA.

Oh yeah... I have to break it to you but it has been confirmed that the cast from the Drama CD will reprises their roles for the anime.

I have no problem with the drama CD cast, Fukuyama Jun seiyuu jokes are just too fun Although Tomokazu Sugita seiyuu jokes are extremely fun too. I just like seiyuu jokes too much.

Is there any comfirmation? Because ANN just let users add whatever information they want to add. I see TSB as the broadcast, darn it, 4:3 then 16:9 afterwards.

This is getting animated?

Damn, all the shoujo things I read have been animated/are getting animated... I LIKE IT!... especially since other than Lovely Complex, this is my favorite shoujo manga (I think it has to do with the fact that the girl is more or less a tsundere...)

uwaa~~ that's cool~~ i would really like to see Usui-kun being animated~~ ^0^
it would be great if they use the same seiyuu like the drama cd, except for Usui,, >.< i don't know, his seiyuu on the cd drama judt didn't fit his image~~ i think it would be better if he was Akira Ishida or Mamoru Miyano,, they give a good voice for pheromon-machine like Usui,, :lolz:

Ah J.C Staff. At least the opening animation should be good, and the first and last episode. J.C staff tend to do okay with the animation department.

Sakurai Hiroaki directed Kodocha. That seals the deal for me. I know there are 3 directors for Kodocha, but this is quite an easy series to animate. It's good that he's experienced with comedy. The staff list looks quite good, they're all experienced in what they're doing.

This might end up being quite good. I hope I'm not expecting too much too much from it.

Anywho, this is probably the first shoujo anime I am looking forward to watching.

Shoujo manga art style doesn't really translate well into anime style. Ouran, Special A and Fullmoon Wo Sagashite are examples I can think of on top of my head.
