those ratings really make me wonder about bleach's tv future. just because its been on for so long doesn't make it immune to being canceled. it does depend on merchandise sales and international ratings/sales as well though. i'm sure those are still up there and turning a profit. hopefully it forces them bring in some story/concept editors to help kubo get the series back in some sort of shape for the new arc(s) the episodes have been just about as good as the story allows imo. that filler ep was pretty weak. how could they not even show rukia's dance? that was the only possible savior for that episode. the kite stuff was so dumb I turned it off and watched the second half later... i do like the new ED |

Well, in an earlier arc Muramasa: http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Muramasa_%28spirit%29 brainwashed the Zanpakutō into fighting against their masters. And in Bleach movie 3: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleach:...Call_Your_Name Ichigo's Shinigami pals were mind-#$^%'d into fighting against Ichigo. Maybe this time it's gonna be Ichigo's living friends who get mind-#$^%'d into fighting against him. Anyone else think the whole "Hero(es) must fight their mind-#$^%'d comrades" plot device is getting a bit overused? BTW, is it just me, or did the animation in this episode seem especially low-budget? Maybe they're saving their money for the inevitable Ichigo-Tsukishima showdown. |

Episode 358 can be considered retarded. Seriously I mean seriously, ichigo is about to have a mental break down simply because the people associated with him are being manipulated by tsuki.
You would think after all the training, all the hardship, all the experience ichigo's has gained that something like this would be easy to deal with. I mean he litterally is freaking out when he should be focused on dealing with tsuki. Hes taking the situation to hard if that makes sense. And as a viewer its highly annoying. The only real problem i can see is tsuki using ichi's friends and family as a shield. Seeing this situation ichigo needs to group up with the people unaffected by tsuki's manipulation and come up with a plan. Ichi's friends and family should not be in any immediate danger as they are a part of tsuki's plan obviously. Simply put, this episode was highly annoying to me.

"Should Ichigo have acted the way he did?". The answer to that is both yes and no. Yes because he's dealt with someone having similar ability. And No because, he didn't know tsukishima had that kind of ability. But personally I found it pretty annoying that Ichigo was shown running like a pathetic coward calling for help. (Wish Kenny or hollow Ichigo were there to knock some sense into him )

I have no problem with Ichigo's reaction to these events. To see your friends and family being buddy-buddy with a guy who you know is bad news must be hard to take. Especially if you can't convince them of that fact and instead have them believe that you're the crazy one. Makes sense for him to freak out. I know I would.

Tsukishima sure did a number on Inoue and Sado..
At least Ichigo has completed his training... probably. I like the new look, sort of x-men style, nice. Honestly, Tsukishima is the scariest opponent so far. What he did to everyone was just freaky. Great episode.
