Good for you guys. Here's hoping to some more views on the visual novel posted here when the rest of the routes are translated.

Kotori itself has changed with the addition of scenario significantly. Note that there is an end last in this route.

Look at the OP, I really like Philosophyz more than Harvest, but both are good songs anyway.

By the way, I'm really happy because finally my true end heroine - Kagari got her own introduction in this OP

. I will be looking forward to her scenario in HF. Hope it gonna be my favorite route.

You somehow got into a bad end (highly unlikely at that point) or there is something wrong with your game. Did you use a walkthrough?

Try a new game. Follow the walkthrough for either Kotori's or Chihaya's route. If you still can't get past that scene there something wrong with your game.

If it's a fresh game, it'd be impossible to trigger any other routes aside from the initial three. However, that doesn't mean you can just set up flags willy-nilly - focus on Kotori, Chihaya or Lucia respectively and go from there. (And to the point, didn't even know there was an opportunity for a bad end, never saw it in my hours of quest-logging)

If you got the bad ending that I thinking of, it is the one where

Most likely you didn't see enough scenes involving one specific girl. You weren't nice enough to a heroine and maybe you missed a plot critical choice that locks onto that route. Here is a list of choice involving the first 3 girls:

I recommend just going for Kotori's route for now since Ixrec translated a third of Kotori's route in the patch.

Edit: Someone asked me to post the choices for Shizuru and Akane, so here they are. Remember that both girls are not available on your first playthrough.

So yeah I just finished the common route and what the fucking hell.

Amusing and damn interesting, though, albeit leaving me confused as to what direction this is all supposed to be going in.
My favorite heroine is easily Kotori... I get the feeling the game is going to crush my spirit pretty fucking hard, huh? Given that she's apparently not the main heroine and all...

*high five for Kotori* And yes, all those days are quickly thrown out the window at the start of the heroine routes....speaking of which, it's almost one year since the game's release isn't it? And already a fandisc on the way. I'm not "that" excited about the fandisc, but it's something I'm looking forward to nonetheless.

So saying I want to play this and cannot speak or read Japanese, how do I go about procurring the game and an english patch. When I played Little Busters I just used TLWiki's english patch(wish they would finish the EX routes soon :[ but anyways is there something similar I can use for Rewrite? I would prefer it if the subs I read were coherent and such xD

Amaterasu is working on english patch for the game. They have already released a patch for the common route. Here's a link to the patch.

It definitely cannot be a prequel, considering she would be like in what, elementary school? Kotarou should have heard a song in the classroom before the screen fades back to main menu. Most likely you didn't see enough scenes involving one specific girl.
