I don't even care anymore if Akane dies since she formed a contract with Reishin. The way they portrayed Reishin made him the exact copy of Itachi Uchiha and Lelouch Lamperouge, though this time this guy was a failure, I guess even this anime can't surpass the manga.

that is soo bad that after i read your spoiler for ep 23 I emailed rightstuf to immediately cancel my pre-order of the series.

that is a horrible ending cant believe it didnt have anything for kuro. She cries confesses her love for keita then leaves for all eternity, dumb.

Jeez.. I might be the only one so far but I'm happy he ended up with Akane. It could've gone either way, Kuro or Akane. Maybe they'll make an alternate ending ova or something, if not there is always fanart.

It was the best Kuro could get though. If she stayed with Keita, the Doppel system wouldn't break.

yeah but was there any reason why he couldnt go/visit the pure place? It was a pretty bad ending for her, she pretty much was stuck with yakamo

there supposed to be 2 more eps. What happend to her brother? hes still alive cuz. How would keitasan get married to renshin girl. If renshin died she would have died 2 since they both share their hearts with one another. maybe im not correct.

Well it definitely wasnt a good ending for her she had to leave everyone she cared about and seal herself away till keita died, the way the dub had it she says she would stay alive until keita died meaning that she would just kill herself after he died so he could have a full life. I dunno about you but that seems like a miserable way to go on. Then hell all her family is dead too

Also I wasnt on any ship i just thought it was a shitty ending regardless.

It was listed to have 24 eps until this week so i guess that 23 is it. and Reishin is dead he used all his tera to kill the masagami twins which ended up not doing much anyway.

Kuro goes to the Masagami's side, but with Keita calling out to her and all of the time they spent, etc. insert that sort of stuff, she manages to gain control of herself again. There goes that... Reishin also seems to be dying now, but I really wonder if he will die though... It was a good thing that they gave Reishin so much screentime in the fight and even at his full power, he got completely gangbanged by the three "masagamis". Never thought of Kuro being the lightning element but there you go ^^' The only cheesy bit was when Keita called out to Kuro so she regained her senses but that much was to be expected...although Keita's lame ass voice gets more and more annoying as times goes on. Reishin seems to die but you never know... The battle near the beginning was finished up so fast, I felt that perhaps just killing the Masagami off last episode could have worked. But by making them fuse and trying to win but getting killed off right away, it kind of felt tacked on... Not only that, but what we all feared. "Tera exe". If the series continued, I wonder what other exes would have appeared. And then the rest of the episode's tension was completely 180 of the beginning. Normal life continues, but it turns out that until Kuro dies, the curse of the Doppler Radar system would continue. And so, after some talking and preparation, Kuro sets off? The end of the episode was somewhat , especially with the fact that the ending of this episode had no ED and was like a last episode, but we still have another episode after this... Spoiler for ep 22: Seems like it might be gearing towards a keitaXkuro ending cus it looks like next episode he is gonna chase after her. The lil confession of her love was cute. After how fail akane was in the last few eps i am all for it if they decide to have him stay by kuro. __________________

About 4/5 of the episode or so was just a recap of everything with a little bit new here and there... Almost wanted to skip it, but I held on... barely... And the the last part is new... Akane marries Keita. And the after the ED, Keita dies from old age. Yeah... That's a whole lot of time skipping... All of a sudden too. Nothing shown about the rest of the characters still alive too. Well, a little bit of that Glasses... But how about the other female characters? But the way it went right to Keita's death was really, really unexpected... I'll give this anime that. Rather sad too, though because of the way it was done, it wasn't that emotional. Spoiler for Final thoughts: ...5/10 I guess... It had a good start. The first couple episodes or so were good. Then... It went boring (sometimes dead boring) until the middle, where it suddenly got decent again. Then it kind of fell a bit again, but maintained its decent quality until the end... And then they end the series with 17 or so flashback and two time skips. Too sudden, but such a way to end the series is rather new and surprising, so I can't really say I hate the way it ended... Probably one of the more emotional scenes out of all of the episodes. The story is so-so... Character-wise, this anime wasn't blessed either. Keita was a rather boring protagonist. The animation was great. That's about the only part that was excellent in this anime. OPs was nice, 1st ED was lovely. 2nd ED was so-so. Well, in a way, it was a fun trip... I guess.
