i'm looking forward to kuroneko's match.. and i'm so gonna rage if she'd lose to such a despicable gurl like houki. and i despise the fact the my pikasha voiced her. the only thing i like about her is her huge knockers lol.

so yeah, if ruri would lose, it'd be to my best bets XD not to someone like houki

Houki is OK, but she is more of a fair weather favorite unlike Ruri <Kuroneko> who is one of my top 5. It will be another wait until next year if she doesn't reach the top 8.

Edit: It's alittle bit too late for Index to put up a resistance now, but at least she's trying for a respectable finish instead of giving up.
(Change that. Just one mention of a close match and the "Wolfpack" storm in and pile on the votes. )

That's 4 for 4. Not even Index could get anywhere near beating Kyouko. It doesn't even really look like all that strong an attempt by Index to win. I wonder if any characters can even get close to the Puella Magi at this point.

Today's match:

Shinonono Houki vs Kuroneko

The Block finals close off with a match that doesn't feature a Puella Magi. Houki is shown herself to by quite a force. I expected her to be weaker than Charlotte but in the end that may not be the case. She has managed to get vote totals comparable to Kuroneko and managed to beat Aria. Kuroneko hasn't really been challenged lately since her opponents had been getting weaker with each round. Sherlock Shellingford was no pushover and Kuroneko managed to beat her. Houki will give Kuroneko a strong fight and I don't think it'll be because of stratigic voting. In the end, I think Kuroneko will still be able to win.

Sayaka is the weakest PMMM girl, it's Madoka > Homura > Mami > Kyouko > Sayaka.

This is a very blatant case of characters being carried all the way to top8 due to series mojo and the strength of their fanbase while the only PMMM girl who was actually moe was eliminated straight away.

Also in before no PMMM vs PMMM match-up in the quarter finals.

homura was strongest of the pmmm girls. are you basing madoka >homura during the prelims? if so, look at whom each was facing.. homura had the tougher group.

Kyouko won. Nothing too surprising here. Houki vs. Ruri may be the only interesting match left. To be in the minority, siding with Houki.

errr... I dunno about you but... all 5 of the girls were designed to be moe. That's why they got Ume Aoki to create the character designs.


Anyway I'm not really much of a fan of saimoe but I just can't help but wonder why some people are so troubled with 4 PMMM girls winning. Personally I love Ume's designs for the PMMM girls so I don't see what's the problem here.
