Itou is already booked for Lambdadelta though. Every time I hear her voice now I think of Takano now so I really hope she doesn't do anyone else.

Ah, silly me. I always keep forgetting the Itou part of her name, even though I love her voice.

Well, ideally, yes, Tanaka Rie would be a great choice, but ironically, another character fits the bill as well

As long as it's an evil character or at least one with an occasional evil streak I am more than fine with any role she might be given. Although come to think of it, in the end, all the Umineko characters might fit that latter requrement.

Anyway, I can't really think of other female seiyuu with impressive "evil voice". Maybe Inoue Kikuko who was pretty damn good in that respect in Macross Frontier. And now I see she even voiced a Higurashi character, so who knows...

True that, at the very least it will lead to theories that Beatrice and Bernkastel are the same person (which for all we know they might turn out to be). I totally forgot about Bernkastel in my urge to support more the possibility of so much of Tamura's serious voice.

Although I was kinda suprised about Horie Yui, and part of me thinks it's a miscast, I think Ryukishi07 might've had a hand in picking the cast.

1. Higurashi Rei, "Uguu" by Hanyuu
2. Hidebu, "Soko wo doite-!" by Hanyuu
so perhaps in Umineko, we'll have "Uu-Uu-Uguu" by Maria.

Horie Yui has a delicious evil voice. (as heard as demonic Hanyuu over the radio). I don't know if that fits anyplace, but she can do other voices besides cute.

The rest are unknown... but 2 out of the 3 announced voices were from Higurashi as well. =P

Geez there are alot of suggestions for Shannon theres:
Mamiko Noto
Aya Endo
Nana Mizuki

Theres lots for her but I agree with these types of voices so I wouldn't mind either of them.
Probably would like to get my hopes up for Mamiko Noto or Nana Mizuki.

I suggest "Nana Mizuki" for "Beatrice" cuz she suits for "blond character"(Fate(Nanoha),Utaru(Shugo Chara!),Allison(Allison & Lillia).

It is a decidedly larger cast than Higurashi. And probably not all that many minor rolls...since it is a more or less self contained area.
