I could've just watched Grandma Peach going "momo momo~" the entire episode, but I was interrupted by so much main-character-filler in episode 9. Thankfully the episode cut back to her at the best times.

I wasn't amused by ep9, and I rather found it boring. Throughout the episode, I couldn't wait for it to end.

Yeah she's easily what made the episode. Especially during the scene with the pirate ship.

& it was insanely obvious that Usui would turn out to be the oni.

Kudos to usui for cutting the amount of softrape to a minimum and having the decency to wait till the end of the story. Considering he wrote it himself he could have done much worse to poor misaki.

Did anybody else catch the .hack// video game reference when the Prez's sister suddenly rises from the sea and asks what they threw into the ocean? lol

In the game, if you went to a small pond and threw in an object, the water spirit would rise and ask whether you threw in the item you threw in or a better item.

I seriously cracked up. Brought back fun old memories. haha

This episode was a refreshing change from the last two episodes, which I'm still trying to forget. That was some messed up (and hilarious) tale Usui came up with by mixing all those myths/tales together.

Next episode will be centered on Sakura apparently. Good, good...

I find all the "tales" mixing up together funny too, makes the story more interesting than just having it as Momotaro.

Pretty much wasn't for the current episode. Didn't advance the plot nor develop any of the characters.. it's like KwM got infected by whatever's bugging Mayoi Neko Overrun. Their own rendition was nice, but rather uninteresting to me apart from Misaki wearing kimono meido outfit.

Oh well, at least Hanazawa's character gets screen time next episode.

Where an axeman accidentally drop the axe into the pond, a spirit asked him what axe did he drop. CMIIW...

Yup, it's one of Aesop's Fables. I remember it being used in A Link to the past and Silent hill 3 too, and I'm sure there are others.

I loved episode ten, but it's overshadowed by my complete bewilderment at the scenes shown in the preview. Looks like JC Staff couldn't stay away from their well-established MO for too long after all.

I loved episode 10, too. The story was a little too predictable, but it was nice to have some focus on Sakura. I especially liked the fact she defended Misaki. Sisters before misters.

And good to see Misaki back in full force. Usui was also kind of fun in this episode, and he didn't overstep his bounds too much. He even gave Misaki some decent advice, but his "I have a strong desire to monopolize" line still irked me a little. The "I'm just a stalker *sparkles sparkles*" was great though.

It looks like we will finally get to know more about him next episode. I'm looking foward to it.

i watched 9 eps so far. so far so good. the animation could be a hell of a lot better. the most upsetting thing is that they just couldnt resist using shoujo cliches like the guy being all cool and the girl staring into his eyes. oh, and how he forces her against a wall smashing his hands on it, geh.
