Another Seo Kouji work adaptation. Drama incoming (both in the story and from viewers)?

From what I hear this is probably his craziest and most fun romcom manga yet .

The mild ride is getting an anime? Seo gets lucky again! At least this manga has not done anything to anger me thus far. The man can be taught after all, it appears.

Truck-kun will find you when you least expect him...

I don't particularly like Seo Kouji but I might give this one a shot. Good harems are hard to come by these days.

Funny you say that. Actually Kouji already trolled with Truck-kun once here. If nothing else he seems to be self-aware...

Half & Half was better. I think it was good even by normal standarts. This one is his second best.

You know, Rent-a-Girflend is way worse than any of his works and the manga is still popular and anime received S2. His works are quite popular despite all of the drama inside and outside.

Sakaki Ichirou, for example, also has a whole bunch of anime adaptations o his works (despote all of them bombing as far as I know), probably, it worked well enough to bust the novel sales.

Aside from Scrapped Princess, maybe. I thought Chaika did modestly well.

I still enjoy the OP and ED to Suzuka from time to time, but all of Seo Kouji's older works have aged incredibly poorly and are dreadful reads.

Chaika did so bad they cut the season 2. To bad as it was pretty good take on fantasy setting.

Ironically, I also liked Suzuka anime a bit. But I watched it pretty long ago, so I am not sure how it fares if I rewatch it now.
