The new SimCity is wierd. The scale of everything went way down and it's seems like it's gone more along the lines of the Ceasar/Zeus/Emperor style where you're a lot more involved in how things move around.

(kind of on the fence with it; hate their "EA" business model)

Or didn't she? She jumped straight to the conclusion that he was talking about her friend. Despite trying to stand up for her on the surface, it shows that under that "mask" she has an "ugly" feeling of superiority towards her friend. One shouldn't just take things at face value, people have psychological "ugliness" too.

I'm pretty sure that any third party happens to be there will have the same interpretation of his comment.
Obviously he was talking about their appearance. How the heck could he judge someone's personality if he had never talked to them before?

And please tell me, if what she did is wrong, what is the "right" reaction then?

He's perhaps right about the pretty one, but he has a problem himself.

Who is to say that he made his comment as a sign of judgment? He sees two women and remarks that one of the two is ugly, without pointing fingers or motioning to indicate which of the two he's speaking about. The comment implies judgment, but what if it's stated to force an action that would reveal the "inner beauty" of the women before him? That is, he made the statement to see how they would react.

You can't read too much into the reactions based on this alone, though. One woman believes that he is speaking about her, and the other believes that he is speaking about her friend. Is it the case that one woman is humble and the other is arrogant? That is what's implied, but it could just as easily be that one woman is called "ugly" often and that both women are aware of it. In that case, their responses wouldn't necessarily indicate anything about how they perceive themselves, but they would be responding to a common action from others.

That's a bit of over-analysis, for sure. Interesting concept.

Sometimes seeing people makes me wonder if women are really that unreachable and mysterious normally....

The Four Kinds of McDonald’s Chicken Nuggets
We visited the McDonald's headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill., and sat in on a quality testing session. They had flown in chicken pros from suppliers like Tyson to grade the nuggets.
The McDonald's sensory team explained that Chicken McNuggets have four distinct shapes and in order to have a chance to meet the McDonald's "Gold Standard" for quality, they have to match them as perfectly as possible.
And each of those shapes has its own name.
Here are the four shapes of Chicken McNuggets, according to Barbara J. Booth, director of sensory science at McDonald's USA:
