Gekijō-ban KanColle (KanColle Movie Edition)
A movie has been officially announced during the second naval review official event. It is scheduled for 2016.
Thus far, most of the first season anime cast has been confirmed, along with second remodels. Spoiler for List of the kanmusu who have been confirmed thus far:
There is no information regarding the staff nor the direction the movie will take, although it is very likely it will be more battle centred due to the remodels. The official anime twitter account has confirmed that the movie and the anime sequel are 2 different projects. However, there is still no information regarding the sequel to the anime series, which could be either a second season or OVA(s).

https://twitter.com/anime_KanColle/s...49070867959808 The final episode of the television anime series had revealed in March that the anime would get a sequel. The anime's official Twitter account indicates that the movie and the sequel are separate projects that are going into production at the same time. |

What worries me the most is the fact both seem to be schedule for 2016.
The first season didn't have an impressive production value, yet they had to delay its schedule (was more or less planned to be broadcasted on summer 2014, delayed to January 2015). If anything, I really wish the production committee will loosen up the budget constraints and whatnot, because even simple quality check was practically laughable, despite the attention to details like the planes used by CV.

Rubbish.
Of course the announcement would have some flak considering the anime series wasn't convincing by any stretch of imagination, but I find funny someone merely collect some heated responses from angry fans as the major response of the "gamer community". If anything, there are still plenty content fans considering the high sales (albeit low for a huge franchise like KC) of the BD/DVD.

The anime version of Mutsuki's k2 just looks... strange.. Same goes to Hiryuu K2
TbH Hiryuu looks so alien to me I'd not even be sure whether she actually was Hiryuu if it wasn't for her Bandana and Souryuu being right next to her. Chokai on the other hand loos like... Well Chokai - I wonder who made her blush there. Looking at the other screenshots I see some things I wonder about: Most ships got their K2, yet Ooi and KTKM don't. Kaga and Akagi look rather happy for Hiryuu and Souryuu regarding them having gotten their K2 (Smiling Kaga - Wth?! ) BB hime on the other hands makes it look like Abyssals are... Robots?
