Well it seams that we have confirmed air date for the anime. It is October 12.

Not bad really. We get to kick start our week with a bit of Fairy Tail. Couldn't get any better.

Now i just need to know who will be composing the score.

Looks like it'll be replacing the "Hikaru no Go Selection" (rerun of the series with select episodes).

it doesn't really matter how many volumes it has or how good it it is it might still cut short like air gear rave kekkaishi and those are just a few most cut at 50 but air gear was cut at 25

I just started reading this manga last night from chapter 1 and just am up to date after 12 hours of non-stop reading. I enjoyed and am looking forward to this series, however, I don't like the whole reviving the dead thing. Not a fan of a childhood crush thing that rules out all other relationships formed, it's just rather complete dreamy bs. Series hasn't even started yet, but I'm already root for NatsuXErza. They has some sweet moments....

kekkaishi was pretty close to manga when the anime ended.

not sure if air gear had a ton of material left when its anime ended though

Why do I have a bad feeling that this anime won’t do the manga any justice, the character design seem so childish compare to their manga counterpart, and it is not fitting their age.

Lucy is 17 years old and Gray is 18 years old when I look at their design they seem to be like 13.

Natsu looks chubby and his face is more rounded not to mention his arms for some reason they decided to make it buff.

I am writing this out of concern as I don’t want Fairy Tail to receive the same treatment as Rave which was completely butchered. Then again I shouldn’t be negative and wait for the show and here is hoping that they will do a good job in handling the manga material.

Anime characters are always spared a few years (19->14, 17->13, 15->11, etc.) so it's only natural it's more childish...it's shounen after all

For the OP, I hope they get something along the line of "butterfly kiss" for RAVE. It absolutely had an adventurous feeling in it.

So far I am very impressed with cast Fairy Tail has. Most of the names are well known to me so this ride will be even more fun then I already thoth it to be.
On another note I didn't expected that Kamina wold voice Luxus, it is a nice surprise.

I never would have guessed at Katsuyuki Konishi for Luxus, though it strangely fits. Daisuke Kishio fits for Loki, along with Ryoko Ono for Mirajane.

I don't really like Fairy Tail except the begining which is a little bit funny. But I think I will watch some episodes of Fairy Tail to see Erza's fights

it doesn't really make sense, i mean the comedy has stayed the same since the beginning. Same flavor of jokes keep on appearing later on in the story. So if you found the beginning funny, then you'd find it all funny.
