I don't see why Mashiro/Miyoshi wouldn't be shounen. It's just not part of this shounen.

except all indications point to the fact that they do in fact like each other, and long ass time by miho too. they just suck at 'being in love' because of who they are. luckily they both are like that so this pairing will probably be the most solid throughout the series.

Mashiro X Miho is still largely at the Infatuation level, Or theres some serious texting going on

Sometimes I bring some unfair expectations to the Romance side of things (because that's primarily what i read

) but that isn't my main concern with this. It's really interesting reading about how Manga are made.

I hope there's more attention placed on the business side of things after this.

This chapter felt kinda long...but story-wise it's getting good! The expression of the editors on the last page makes me wanna skip right to the next week, one week of holidays is worth sacrificing to see the results!!!

If you mean Fukuda x Aoki, I don't think Aoki's a Tsundere. (But she gets more excited and talkative every chapter you see her, and I can't help but be proud of her for that.)
If you mean Takagi x Miyoshi, I don't think Takagi's a jerk. (But he's not getting married anytime soon.)

It's always nice to see Aoki's different expressions. But the ones in this chapter were awesome. The artist is really good at drawing woman with short hair. And Iwase is looking as uptight as ever. I wonder if Nakai will partner up with her. While she's learning about shounen manga we probably get to see Nakai dealing with the mess he got himself into.

that is my first thought is that Nakai would end up being her partner at least for the short term.

I'm wondering how Kato's rejection will be done. It can be any method of nasty, really.

"Shortly after Business Boy Kenichi is cancelled and Takahama sends his assistants away, Kato invites Nakai for lunch. As he talks about the incident with Fukuda with her and brings up working with her on a personal project, she rejects him."
is the most likely route.

It will be more fun (for me) if the authors just keep him with Kato for the time being, because I really like what Aoki is doing with Fukuda right now.

Lol, the thing about the cliffhangers, its hard to tell whether their expressions are 'oh my god, I can't believe it became this bad' or a usual 'I can't believe what I'm seeing'.

Well we've seen dozens of cliffhanger shocked face chapter endings in this story, so i'm not surprised we're finally seeing one that isn't creative.

That aside though, so much happened in this chapter. I can't stop insisting how this manga handles so much in one chapter, and I love it for that. I'm on the edge of my seat for sure to see what'll happen next week.

I don't know about you, but to me, she looked entirely disturbed when Nakai admitted that he liked talking to her. No affection, not even a surprised blush. She's completely shocked, and in a bad way.

"DO YOU SERIOUSLY GET LOST IN THOUGHT WHILE WASHING YOUR ASS?!" "DON'T SAY ASS!!!" Looks like Iwase might end up being more than just a throwaway plot device after all. Hattori's likely going to hook her up with a good artist, and with Aoki getting better at shounen Ashirogi's got some serious competition on their hands. Not to mention if they fail to get serialized Miyoshi's family is going to murder Takagi Good to see they haven't forgotten about Eiji's promise. Tanto definitely should get the axe, it doesn't sound all that interesting. I'd be surprised if he cut another series though, like Iwase's or Aoki's. __________________

Spoiler for Same as always, contains a lot in just a single chapter: Marriage on-hold because of the result from the serialization meeting. Nakai's a fool, just because he got rejected by Katou and Aoki hated him for what he did, he is quitting just because of those reasons. I thought he was committed in getting serialized but he found another route and tried to use his drawing skills for the wrong purpose and it ended badly. And Mashiro showed that he was a real friend (same goes for Fukuda and Aoki). __________________
