i'll get frustrated if this Laplace's box thing is useless in the end.. that would mean all of Banagher and Mineva's efforts will be wasted

It wouldn't. Cardeas probably thought that whatever Laplace's Box will do in the end, Banagher's efforts - using the Unicorn, will come to fruition. After all, Cardeas taught his son the very significance of possibility.

Have you not been watching the series? The Laplace Box can change EVERYTHING in the UC series.

There is technically no war when knowledge about the box is just limited to a few parties.

Also, the Sleeves will not get very far in an all out war considering what we are shown of them. They have limited manpower and outdated technology.The Feds can just crush them underfoot in a day or 2 if the word gets out and still kept the incident under wraps.

I think Minerva had seen the big picture, and what she is doing is an effort to prevent further sufferings from what is left of the Zeonic remenants out of sentimental feelings. She spent a better part of her childhood with them afterall.

Unicorns CG backgrounds and what not are quite impressive, but overall it's lacking considerably compared to some older works, which is truly sad given the budget for this show.

I have to say I'm very impressed with unicorn so far. I'm not a fan of the gundam itself in 3D but the way the ships and other mechanical objects look are really great. They've come a long way since seed.

I'm loving the attention to detail in this series so far. Very fun to watch. I hope the next 2 episodes continue to be this awesome.

Honestly, for me the peak of animation was the 8th Ms Team, because I'm not a big fan of CG, but these two episodes are impressive nonetheless.
In particular I like the character design. It's nice to see there are still anime shows without bishounens and scantly dressed lolitas

mineva even said the the feddies will be hiding the industrial 7 incident and it will "dissappear from the news" so as much as possible they don't want to turn this into another full scale war..

what I'm afraid of is banagher and mineva dying.. but i'm more concerned about mineva.. damn it, she needs to be given a chance to live a normal life!!

riddhe is actually becoming so annoying.. or maybe i'm getting annoyed by him.. i do hope minvea and banagher meet up fast.. btw, what is riddhe planning bringing mineva to earth??

mineva is probably one of the badass female characters personality wise.. i like her composure and discipline, mostly her desire to protect her people from getting wiped out of the universe..
