I agree. I'm thinking they might even save a major time jump for a new series, DBZ style. All depends on the pacing of the anime to the manga in terms of release.

Yep no time jump. Its not like Akatsuki is going to wait years to apprehend Naruto when they've decided to get him now. Itachi is just taking a break. I don't forsee a time jump for a LOOONG while if at all. Although Naruto must grow up sometime if he wants to be Hokage.

I don't like time-jumping. But I would like to see the characters age according to the time that we see has passed. It's been almost a year by now since the begining of the manga (in manga time) right? They should have Naruto stand Next to Sakura and have them both realize with a shock that Naruto is a little taller than her now days. Of course some boys don't get a growth spurt until 14 or so. But still.

Well, if Naruto has only one or two jounin level jutsus thats one or two more jutsus than most characters his age know (kuchiyose, rasenga, kage bunshin). Naruto not only has stamina but he is incredibly good at finding different ways to use his jutsus. Hes done this constantly w/ the Kage cunshin and he even tweaked rasengan a little to make the whirlpool in the latest episode.

As far as the Kisame thing. Kisame's sword eats chakra. anyone that isnt fast enough to avoid it will have their chakra consumed. Kisame just said that Naruto was too slow to pull out his kuchiyose. If naruto would have been faster Kisame wouldnt have sucked out Naruto's power.

Only time when kyuubi was deactivated was when he fought Kabuto.

True. The point I was making was that though Naruto is getting better Kyuubi is still his trump card and there are ways around it. Orochimaru sealed it, Kisame absorbed its chakra which disabled Naruto from releasing more for some reason and yes even Kabuto found away to take Kyuubi's advantages from Naruto. I'm not saying he won't be craftier with more experience but that he won't go unchallenged even as an adult. But I don't think we'll see an adult Naruto for a good long time.

Damn, there was me thinking that Naruto gains full power of the Kyuubi, goes and kills Itachi and Orochimaru and everything is fine. Then he becomes the 5th Hokage. Didn't think it was gonna go on any further....
