Dare I say...heads will roll?
I don't know if this had been announced and I missed it, but are they going with half Karen episodes and Tsukihi for the other half of the episodes? From the summary list it looks like Bake's mains will just be incorporated into the story instead of having their own episodes this time around.

In case of Shaft, they are constantly sending almost half or more of amount of works to China, since they don't have time... (...) Studios with the worst scheduling = Shaft, Studio DEEN, Satelight, Seven Arcs

Is it not equally possible that it's a translation error, and the people listed are the animation supervisors, where it would be completely possible to have more than one on an episode, especially given that they seem to be different people on every episode?
Edit: Sorry, I reread it, and some of those people were in fact the Assistant Animation Directors on Bakemonogatari so it seems unlikely they are actually supervisors. That said I can never really tell where Shaft have cut corners anyway, ignorance is bliss. |

(I'm not sure if it has to be clarified... but, just in case, for any non-Native speakers, telling a child about "the birds and the bees" is a euphemism for explaining about reproduction/sex. )

From someone who's been looking into it for years (and input from Peter Chung): Quote:
That said, what applejuice noted is often true: studios will need more animation directors if they need to divvy up the work because they are running out of time (this happened with the 2nd Macross Frontier film). However, there could also be other reasons, e.g. if there is a specialist for character design, another for action etc etc.
