When I uninstal an old codec pack on my computer, it freezes while unregistering haali\splitter.ax.

Is there a way I could manually unregister the file, or would I have to follow that "My Codecs are Screwed Up" guide?

Reboot, don't run any other programs, and you can try it manually: regsvr32 /u C:\Program Files\Haali\MatroskaSplitter\splitter.ax

Then try running the uninstall

I've typed that line in the run box, attempted another uninstal, and it still froze.

boot into safe mode and try it.
