that's a concern for me to because that will determine if this will be a fanservice anime (with unneended ecchiness between those kind of scenes) or something like horizon ( no unneeded ecchiness except in those fanservice scenes they just have those assets)

they would probably cut alot..since madan itself is kinda dialogue heavy as well..although has more "war scenes" than the other 4

I guess so, especially if they made it to be 5 volume. Volume 5 ending is good for season ending after all.

I would take it to volume 5 since it is exactly arc 1 for the story (Brune Civil war)

in order for them to get to volume 5 they would need a split-cour or and 2-cour, remember where vanadis shines is in its military tactics, battles. and character interactions and if they were going to put 5 volumes into a single-cour not only would feel rushed but it would completely ruin the anime, making it a fanservice anime would be better but not by much

As much as I hope it to be, I think it's still unlikely to be 2-cours anime. It's MF bunko J after all .. they didn't really have good record on that.

Well, if they cut things, I hope they end up cutting down the fanservice, which often felt tacked on, not the politics/fighting.

I expect them to cut the politics/fighting, for budget reasons of course.

Getting an anime is both a good and bad thing. Good because it getting animated is something we all wanted to see that but bad because it will slow down the publication of the light novel which means the current arc will be released slower now.

Cutting fanservice is NOT going to happen. Take what happened to the anime Free as an example. They added female characters because they didn't have enough material to make merchandise from.

Oh I know, they will magnify the fanservice, and cut otherwise.

Unlike Blade dance, Madan does not have a real easy spot to terminate a first season in 2-3 novels.
