Or Riza or Scar could finish the job as well I guess. Either way, Envy is pretty screwed. >_> |

First of all, have to love the way how Roy burnt Envy, as Hughes. And did any of you realise that he reduced Envy back to his original form in just 1 chapter?
Now what Roy needs is a hit to the back of his neck. The Flame Alchemist needs a break.

What exactly are they supposed to do with Envy besides killing him though? Sure, he could be forced into being a guide to Father for them or something, but keeping him around is something of a danger, or rather an annoyance given how quickly managed to take Envy down.
So we still have Pride and Wrath at the very least on the loose. I wonder who will take Wrath down. Mustang would be appropriate I suppose, but he just got Envy to some degree.

No one's feeling sorry for the cow? You guys suck
That said, I am a bit annoyed with Ed and the others being all soft on this guy. This is a war. You kill your enemies in a war. Period. Last edited by Kaiba; 2009-04-11 at 01:16. |

Its a theme, Arakawa is telling us that revenge is never the answer, thats why instead of Scar defeating Kimbley its Heinkel whose a minor character and has very little to do with Kimbley other than the irony of Heinkel being a former bodyguard.

A major theme of FMA is that a single life is only worth that life. That's why human transmutation is impossible as there is nothing possible to trade for a life. There was also the scene in the Ishbal War when a leader of Ishbal surrendered in order to spare his people and Wrath just laughed at him and said that the leader was arrogant to think his life was equal to thousands of others. Then the idea of revenge in that you are killing others in response to the loss of another life. In this case I disapprove as Envy is not only a backstabber but also sly and this could very easily lead to problems down the road. Just because Mustang has the wrong motive, he still would have been doing the right action.

I think all there's left to see is...
Will Riza shoot Roy , and that foreshadowing recap chapter come true...? or , will they find a way to calm him... ? Considering how enraged he is right now though , I just can't see how they are going to pull that one off. |

Well either Riza shoots and kills him which would basically make the whole "I want to be fuhrer" thing useless, or they somehow calm Mustang down.
I am betting on the second one since Mustang is the second most popular character in the series. |

But yeah , I forgot about him wanting to be Fuhrer. Though , should he survive , Just watch as Olivier becomes Fuhrer instead of him. |

KO him, tie him up, gag him, and leave him in town with someone else. Or they could convince him to hold his guns, and get to Father for the fight. Of course, whether Envy co-operates is another issue.
