It's not that bad, is it? It's just 5% off.

I say that might be bad for merchandise that's supposed to be relatively very new. Economically speaking probably not that bad for the retailers, they'll probably sell it off and cover the costs................eventually.

But this might not be good news for Bandai.

From the actual age change standpoint, I do like it but now that you mention it, the actual change may not necessarily be a good sign in general for AGE.

Ouch, now that might hurt them a bit.

Ouch if that's true I'm thinking we are going to be lucky if the series makes it to the AGE-2 Gundam.

That'll be great for me if the Robot Damashii AGE figures get that type of price cut.

I'm just wondering what is the actual rating of Gundam AGE? Is it PG (Children) or PG-13 (Teen 13 or older), i think the latter one is accurate since that episode 3 incident & dat Woolf manservice.

I kind of want to see the series succeed if for no other reason than as a fuck you to the stupid angry fanboys, but if that can't happen I'll at least settle for it being allowed to finish.
Well I hope it completes its run too since I was one of the only few people who was actually excited for this series. I'm actually really enjoying it sure some of the character designs will take time getting used to, but overall it has a great story so far.

I am disappoint with this fanbase to be honest. If its not UC or it dares to do something different then its utter trash that needs to die. Dx

I also hope that it will succeed even if it don't I'll just be happy that it will be able to complete its run and that Bandai USA will license it regardless of wither its subbed or dubbed I'm going to buy it just so I can rub it in the haters faces.

Edit: If SD Gundam could complete its run I don't see why this can't.

I don't think that's true... Gundam 00 Season 1 did things very differently yet older fans were mostly receptive of it (the people who didn't like it were mainly Seed fans, actually. At least on this forum anyway)

Unless you are referring to the 2ch fans of course...

SD Gundam airs in an early morning slot when ratings are not as important, and actually succeed at attracting kids, which was basically its main goal. Also there are budget differences; quite frankly traditionally animated mecha is far more expensive than the cel-shaded CG stuff that SD Gundam Force/Sangokudan used.

In my opinion I didn't really like 00 until around episode 9 or 10...

Oh I see. xD Well best of luck to AGE then. If the plot gets better the sales should improve or at least stay up there to where they won't have to cut down on episodes just to stay in budget. It would be a shame to see it cancel cause the raging fanboys crying like 5 year old little bitches cause Sunrise isn't catering to their tastes. Then there is people who bitch and whine every weekon MAL's AGE subforum about how kids are not supposed to pilot Gundams when they have since 0079.

Anyways what time does this are in Japan around 7~8PM?

Sundays at 5pm... Not the best timeslot, but its not just ratings that are important in this case, its also the merchandising and DVD/BD sales.

From what I heard the DVDs are not doing so well. I have no idea about the BDs though they should sell more cause they usually do over there. Also the models should do fairly well, but then again I wouldn't know. I would love a UE model though they look awesome.

Wasn't that the air time for both seasons of 00?

Second season only. First season was the old Doroku timeslot (Saturday 6pm) that Gundam Seed aired in.

But second season didn't suffer majorly from that time slot right? I know it had lower ratings than the first season. But they weren't really bad like AGE right?

No, not even close to as bad as AGE is. Its still a darn good timeslot, so one could argue that it should be helping AGE rather than hindering it.

The ratings are starting to rise, so we'll have to wait and see how it goes. 4 was okay but 5 was abysmal to me so I find it ironic that the ratings would rise now. I wonder if the Woolf and Decil had anything to do with it?

Someone sent me this link, don't know who. But I thank them. Looks like those leaked designs could just be real after all.
