Romance in Code Geass (Take 3)

You know, I really don't care that much about romance in this series. But the reason I used to try and defend SuzakuxKallen is mainly that if there's one thing that annoys me in fandom, it's people who think they know everything that will happen. No one here is part of the staff as far as I know, so we're all entitled to our opinion and can speculate all we want.

We may not know everything that is going to happen but we can still make educated guesses and speculations based on what is shown about those characters in the show. Which is the main reason people deny that Suzaku x Kallen has a chance of happening because of how their characters were brought up.

I'm not talking about LelouchxKallen fans in general, but mainly about two members here who tend to state things like they are part of the production team and know what will happen, when, why and where without a single doubt. I think it kind of kills the purpose of discussion.

And I'm trying to look at the bigger picture here for the sake of argument. A few years from now, with proper development (and we all know Geass is all about OMG PLOT TWISTS), yeah, I could see it happen. People can change.

Basically, if CC stays like she is now, then I want Lulu to be single. If CC changes back I want it to be Lulu x CC. I was a Lulu x Shirley fan but thats not possible anymore...

Well, Seeing how more and more major characters are dead, dying, or likely to die, I'm actually starting to allow myself to hope for my pairing again:

True enough, but we do have a finite number of episodes where a few years from now scenario is unlikely to happen. Plus the direction they are taking with her character is centered on her feelings and loyalty to Lelouch at the moment and seems unlikely to change.

But I get your point, it just annoys me in general when some people try to pair off Kallen with just a random male character who happens to talk to her or make a passing comment about her with nothing to back such claims.

Well, what choice does Lelouch have? Unless CC recovers her memories (very unlikely and that would give us a suicidal CC), Lelouch can't have a healthy romantic love relationship with her.
