Well that was delightfully unhinged. I think most people will gain a new found fear (and some respect) of Mika. The women around Seiji almost makes him look normal. Almost.

But this episode pretty exemplifed what I've always thought regarding the cast: the humans in this show are far scarier than any of the supernaturals among them.

Oh this should put an end to those doubts about Izaya's involvement in Anri's attack by the Russian duo last season.

Can't wait for Akabayashii's backstory next week!

BTW Schoolgirl Celty (glad they included that bit from the LN)

In case your new to Durarara, summary of character incoming, brace yourself.
Also I wonder how that doctor (Forgot his name *shame*) will ever take a day off again. I mean one day off and now he has the police on his tail and someone was about to get murdered because of that.

I think Celtys love for that doctor is quite normal. When a behaded angel of death is the most normal person in a series it really makes you think.
Why has that to be a schoolgirl uniform? Now I feel wierd, but it looks amazing!

I didn't quite understand why Izaya would frame Shizuo? Where was the benefit for him?

Mika can be pretty scary. But still have to give her props for how capable she is. It is possible she has more information about what is going on in the city than Izaya himself does.

Seji, Namie, and Mika make one twisted trio.

I don't know who is crazier, Mika or Namie? I'd say Mika because I still can't believe she wants to eat Celty's head. My jaw dropped when she announced that. I knew she was off her rocker, but man.

Oh and yeah, it's finally confirmed it was Izaya that got Anri attacked. I wonder what some people have to say about that.

I would have to say Mika too. Planning to eat Celty's head just left me speechless. She is easily one of the most twisted characters in this series.

If Mika had any motivation beyond keeping Seiji around, she'd be the most dangerous character in the series.

If you have kids with someone like Mika, you wont have to worry about them ever because she will track every step they take, every person they meet, and on and on and on.

Mika was somehow at the center of hate..
She and Seiji made a nice pair.
Namie was pretty pissed off.
Namie vs Mika showdown was disturbing yet interesting.
Oh wow, that Mika sure was full of info.

Yeah Mika knows everything... Almost.

Vorona is now working at Russia Sushi. Doesn't seem motivated. Yeah knowing you've been spare because of who your family is while her partner is left to his doom ruins self confidence.

Oh we see Shinra and Celty running away from a Werewolf in broad daylight.

But what happens when they get to their rebellious phase and find ways to evade her surveillance? They're going to turn into even more skilled evil bastards.

Wait, does Celty know Mika's head is just plastic surgery and not the Dullahan head? Because I don't remember it ever being revealed to her in the previous seasons.

She knows. I don't remember specifically when or where she was told off the top of my head, but she knows.

Weird, the last time I remember Celty thought her head had developed it's own will and was living a new life, that's why she finally accepted herself as a headless monster. So I thought the truth was shown only in the lns and not the anime.

Because their first meeting was when Celty thought her 'head' was going independent and don't need no body...-or at least has a new body. So she felt a burden was lifted from her shoulders and began acting out.
