How common / rare is it for a grandfather to take part in a parent teacher conference in place of living parents? Personally I think its likely Manabu was raised by him.

Also I really liked the grandfather, Manabu was really just trying to prepare Reina's dad for meeting him lol

is a great manga by far. i was bored and was searching for something to read, and came upon this one. I laughed hard enough to wake my brother from sleeping. he is a heavy sleeper too. it has been awhile since i laughed as well. I'll keep reading this series, hopefully it gets a bit longer or so.

You gotta love Reina's expressions lol. But I like the Expressionless Manabu better. I love how blunt he is lol.

ROFL I know more and more newer mangas try to keep up with whats new these days but ch 14 was awesome!
I also believe there was a ref to Avatar in ch 6 of Countrouble also, it's bloody everywhere!

Reina seems to have fallen into the role as big sister to Mayami, she'll look out for her rather than have her date with Tanaka

Just quickly touching up the funny bits to me in the later chaps[to 18]

-Manabu's granddad is a riot! He gets points just for riling up Manabu, but he's a hilarious char in his own right.
-Seeing Maya's expression when Reina asked about her parents made me rofl

. I guess it's because she is such a lively, energetic char, for her to have that "aww ****, that's annoying to talk about" look on her face was really amusing to me.
-Although it's TOO easy to compare this to Onidere(i stopped at chap 66 or so), Manabu is a much better char than Takeshi(?) and Reina is far more tolerable than Saya. Manabu taking nearly everything with such a straight face and smile is like the perfect archetype for someone like Reina, though she's not nearly as hostile as a delinquent/yankee should be(like getting into all kinds of fights and beating everyone up type of stuff).
-I thought it was SO cute when Reina's dad and Manabu's granddad came home, and eventually Reina came out of the kitchen. That scene(and afterwards as well) somehow looked like her and Manabu were newlyweds or something.
-I was surprised at Maya's profound words in regards to love. Again, I mostly see her as a slapstick char, so when she does these types of things, i'm totally off-guard.

Good stuff, even though the art style is crap, the art itself is cute, and the story is really enjoyable.

Anyone get a chance to check out the drama CD?

Chapter 20 is out and it's a super awesome chapter (in my opinion) about the past of Reina's mom and dad. Ran (mom) was a bit of a psychotic delinquent and yet super cute because of her inner maiden. Like mother, like daughter

Ch 19 is something pretty cool as well, when Manabu keeps that deadpan look and tells the girl she is the pathetic one, props the to lad for being super cool.

oh and did anyone read the ch 3 for the side story, it had little strip for Mayami's intial design, she was supposed to be a Yandere little sister. While I love the M Mayami I would also have loved to see the Yandere one cause the way she lunges at Reina with the knife is great

Just read the latest chapter, I fully agree that inner maiden Ran is awesome. Really, it's bordering how she can pretty much "switch mode" at will. I really can't wait to see the second half of the flashback, I really wonder how on earth could the confession scene goes. My guess is that somehow it will be pretty bloody...Seeing Reina's dad reminds me of the main character for Angel Densetsu, I wonder whatever possess him to aspire to be a teacher in the first place?

Great that Manabu was actually doing impressions of his gramps I liked the interactions between Manabu and Reina's dad, this I kinda guess this is where the BF is a hit with the GF's famliy and GF is the shy one in front of the BF's famliy. Well thats what I'm hoping for anyway, cliche as it may be, it's one cliche I very much like btw does Manabu have parents? can't say I recall them ever being mentioned but well should be a blast to waht they are like __________________
