More like to warn that since the show is made by Urobuchi, expects a lot of death and grimdark elements.

But it's still not the happy ending. Don't mix the terms.

well the tag is there to generalize to expect something because butchered gen is pretty popular and has his style of work that the fans of his work should already familiarize with. So for new fans that are trying to check it. its a warning and to the fans of his past work. its just a sign that it will be fantastic again

Loving the celtic vibe. Someone must be a fan of Riverdance.

I'd say about 10% as powerful as the super-carriers from Girls und Panzers.

There are three new character designs here
Male this time. I like the white haired guy in the black suit, he isn't handsome but he looks interesting.

PV reminds me of Xam'd somehow (which I loved despite its flaws). Not a fan of Urobuchi, but will give this a shot.

Tomokazu Sugita is voicing the main mecha: Chamber.

Voice sample: http://www.gargantia.jp/#mechanic_0

Ayumi Fujimura is voicing Striker, the other mech.

They announced a bunch of other voice cast for the show today too after the screening of ep1-2. There's a new PV on the site which is region blocked (#$^%#$), and they announced the OP/ED themes too.

OP: この世界は僕らを待っていた (This world was waiting for me) by Minori Chihara
ED: 空とキミのメッセージ (Message from you and the sky) by Choucho
