Of course, those who have not seen #3 yet can simply overlook the end of the page. Though I'm not sure of the officialness of that wiki, it makes a lot of sense.

Hmm how do I describe Tranformers III.....I think simply put it's a Michael Bay Transformers movie.
Big bangs and big booms, that at least was consistent throught the series

First a problem thats been there since the start of the series is it's terrible editing.
I think that speaks for itself, couldn't care what anyone says on this matter, it was bad, period.

Biggest problem for this 3rd film tho is the Optimus vs Megatron fight was painfully not there.
I got that they were making Prime to be one tough son of a bitch from the start but the one epic fight(that we all expected should have been) was simply not there.
One time where I can say overkill and not in a nice way.

Now about Miss Rosie, I know some commented on why she's in the film and I agree, she's pointless service but I won't hold that agianst her just Bay cause damn, thats one sweet little rear!
Just like with Megan Fox all I could say was "oh so I want to have her over the dining table" and well that applies to Miss Rosie as well

I don't think I got the enegry to go into the whole "why don't we get to see this Transformer or that Transformer?"
I know changing up some Tranformers was gonna happen.
Altho I will say the lack of Thundercracker and Skywarp will always be a sore point.

In the end I still have this very odd love/hate thing with the series.
I hate it for it's obvious flaws/problems and what not, you know the whole destroying of fond childhood memories but at same time love it cause it's simply Transformers and big ass robots going BANG and BOOM.

We got stuck with Bay and thats not gonna change so gotta live with it.

Now onwards to the next childhood memories to be thrown into a blender without the lid put on!

For better or worse, this is Bay's last Transformers film, so whoever is going to reboot it is going give us new things to complain about.

Actually, the latest rumor was Bay returning since DotM is going to make a fortune, but recasting Jason Statham as the new lead (no, this is not a joke).

Statham is far from a great actor, but he's very charismatic and likeable. I think the best case scenario would be to have him play a character with a Decepticon device attached to his throat which requires him to run around screaming throughout the entire movie or his head explodes.

Either way the entire franchise is getting a reboot. You need Megatron and Starscream back, and you need all new designs to justify new toys. This has been the case since Gen 1.

There is no conformation of any Transformer 4. However, the way Transformer 3 ended makes it nearly impossible to make a continuation from. That was the intention too; to tidy up lose ends by mass-deaths.

Hasbro is having a good time selling a variety of movie themed toys. They won't allow the film to end here. Which means there will be a reboot sometime in the next 5 years.

This is a movie series I wouldn't mind seeing be rebooted immediately since I hate Michael Bay so much. I'm hopeful for Statham getting the lead rule, even if it is only a rumor at this point, while also snatching up a fun and exciting director in the process. Hell, why not go after Joss Whedon once he finished up 'The Avengers'?

Not sure he'd want to tarnish his rep, given how badly the series has been driven into the poop-chute.

I don't see how that would do anything to his reputation. How does Bay's incompetence as a director reflect upon Whedon in any way? If anything, he could make the first ENJOYABLE Transformers movie, so there could be a lot for him to gain from it.

Transformers had worse days than Bay did the 2nd film. It has a long history of ups and downs, and yet it survives. You are over-estimating Bay's influence, he is just a man. Bay isn't important enough to kill Transformers by a long shot. And as I say, the toys sell well. That's the important part.

This movie sucked sooo much...first off, the filler. Spike Sam goes job hunting for what seems like an eternity and spends quality time with his new girlfriend, and my thoughts at the moment were "WTF am I watching!?". Any scene including his girlfriend or her boss could have easily not existed and have no impact whatsoever. Anyways, on to the transformers:

1) Ironhide dies too fast for my liking.
2) Optimus would NEVER kill another, shooting Sentinel was very ooc.
3) From what I understood, it was 7 or 9 autobots in Chicago VS a decepticon army all over the planet. What happened to the rest of the world?
4) Lol @ starscream dying at the hands of humans.
5) Also lol @ Megatron who goes from a one foot to the grave wreck to super-power gut-ripping machine after hearing out a little girl, who he let live for no reason at all.
6) Just how many people died in this movie?
7) A bit too "American" for my tastes...
Top disliked scenes however, were the gf's stare into the void look when the skyscraper was falling apart, and Sam's train of thought: the entire planet is getting destroyed, what should I do? Oh right, check on mah girl! -pukes-

Sentinel wanted to take him out ASAP since he was the second most dangerous Autobot that could've thwarted him, after Optimus. The timing might feel wrong for the avid viewer, but it was a strategically sound decision.

The majority of Decepticons died in Chicago - either in the shootouts or inside the vessels that were sucked back into the collapsing Space Bridge. The rest probably went into hiding or left Earth... The logical deduction is that they stayed and will probably be picked off one by one by the surviving Autobots after the movie. It's not like anyone cares anyway; the Decepticon leaders are dead, the movement is moribund. Now they're just headless chickens left to linger in a world where they have no purpose whatsoever. They'll leave...or try and face the Autobots.

And I doubt the Decepticons hiding near Angkor Wat and Hong Kong were raising hell like their Chicago counterparts; they were probably keeping themselves quiet until the moment they were ordered to launch their pillars.

Oh, yeah, something that relies on the principle of cosmic irony.

You cannot make a point or prove your superiority to a corpse. Unless you do it BEFORE killing the said person.

Tunnel vision fueled by rage also helps. As well as the need for self-reassertion.

Thousands, easily. Most citizens remained indoors after the initial onslaught, but those who were fleeing or too close to the Master Pillar building probably got systematically wiped out in an effort to leave no witnesses (and thus any source of intelligence for the US armed forces) until Cybertron could be summoned into the Solar System.

It's filmed by Americans, with Americans, for Americans--what do you expect? This is like finding Ai Yori Aoshi, Code Geass or Rurouni Kenshin too Japanese.

In hindsight, why didn't

the script writer have the guts to kill off Bumblebee ? This combined with the death of Ironhide would have given the production more depth. If only for the fact that this new generation of kids needs to relive the trauma of G1's Optimus's death.

Well. It took 3 movies to kill Starscream. Finally.
All in all, I got what I payed for. A movie filled with explosions, slo-mo's galore, and giant robots. As a nice bonus, I got the laughs. The osprey drop scene with the flying-squirrels was oddly hilarious. Not to mention Rosies temporary derp in the middle of the carnage. You may have a nice rear, but your lips remind me of a porn star. Not so attractive.

The Rosenbauer Panther 6x6 is definitely larger than a 5th gen Chevrolet Camaro. It's almost twice taller, too, which means greater internal volume (a factor behind the reason why the ILM guys preferred a Peterbilt long-nose rather than a cab over) - thus greater height when "unfolded".
