What summer movie are you looking forward to most?

...or like best (applicable to movies already out)?

There are so many movies coming out this summer, it's tough to decide which one(s) to go to, especially if you're strapped for cash as I am. No popcorn for me, I guess!

Here's a list of movies, as complete as I can make it. Tell me and I'll add any movies that I missed.

Spiderman 3
Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End
Shrek the Third
Fantastic Four (2nd one, can't remember subtitle)
Transformers
Live Free Die Hard (4th, current working title, so I've heard)
28 Week Later
Knocked Up
The Simpsons Movie
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

...I know there's more, but I can't remember them at the moment.

Personally, I'm looking forward to TRANSFORMERS, yeah!

Also be free to discuss any movie you want, I'm making this an open chat room for the summer movies!

Oh, just as a side note, has anyone else noticed the ridiculous number of sequels coming out? Not that they won't be any good, but that's one of the resons I started this thread. That and the fact that the General Chat forum will soon be overtaken by movie threads if something is not done about it.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is the only movie I really care about this summer. Already hastling my friend at the theatre to secure my midnight tickets to it.

Some other movies I'll look into taking my Freshmen mentees to as a bonding activity over the summer here at PSU.

Hoo-ah!

No all of the above option? Ok I admit I'm a bit of a movie nut. I'd say Pirates 3 for sure, but I'm also looking forward to Goblet of Fire.

Franchises make money. People are more likely to see a sequel or spinoff of something they have seen before, or even watch something similar to something popular, than they will taking a chance on something new. That's not to say "original" works don't get attention, but if there is any hint they'll be popular they'll be turned into franchises and milked for as much as possible.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and 28 Weeks Later for me. I'm not too sure if the Simpson's Movie counts, but if so, that too.

I'm really, really looking forward to Harry Potter! I still like the books better than the movies, but I thought the most recent one was really good and I'm hoping the upcoming will be even better.

I also want to see the Simpsons movie. I think I've been watching the Simpsons since I was born. I just hope it has Sideshow Bob in it at some point. He's my favorite character.

What? llama can like the evil ones too...

I'm looking forward to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Not only I want to see the return of Barbarosa ("what the hell? He's back? D:") but also I'm all hyped at the new pirate (I LOL'ed at the promo poster; Chow shaves his head and grows (fake) mustache? )

I don't care about other movies, though Transformers looks tempting.

I'm happy to say that I'm not looking forward to none of them. The same old.

On the other hand, I'm looking forward to getting my PS2 and seeing all the games I have missed

Arrgh. I'm constantly having to add movies that I completely forgot about. It's kida sad, actually, but at one point I was able to name all thte summer movies. There was a special (actually several) on G4 about the summer movies, and they named the big ones, i.e. Spiderman 3 and Transformers.
