My interpretation was that the physical human was the container and the life-force was housed in it. Before the body could disappear after the LF is consumed, they stick in the 'torch', and the rest, of course, is history.
Maybe we could find out if we experimented on Yuiji ourselves *gets boxcutter*

man i'd love for a second season with Hecate around. I keep thinking of Yuuji becoming a flame haze with Hecate as his pendant/bracelet/what not and weilding the blutsauger.

then again a midget sword battle between Shana and Hecate would also be cool.

I think she would be hurt at most. Letting her die like that would be rather meaningless. At least, her death would be, considering the possibility that she didn't do anything significant for the final battle.

If this series ends at 24 and not have a second season, I think I'm going to be very disapointed with the ending because a. its going to be very rushed trying to tie the loose ends, the love triangle, trinity, etc, and they havent even adressed the silver or Rammie towards the end, or b. they arent going to address them at all,which would be a disapointment.

There are alot of animes to watch, OMGodess will be came back as a second season too. Even if Shana has second season or OVA or whatever, it won't be in this year.They have to sell DVD and PS2 game for the whole year.So why bother ?Make yourself comfortable and watch the ending, will you ?

I agree. Look at GSD...Coming out like what, almost two years (not sure of the date) after its prequel and look how err...terrible (for lack of a better word) it did. Hopefully for those fans out there (including me) that there *should* be a second season...But definitely not in the near, near future if we want it to be a great sequel.

Personally I don't want Shana to drag for a second season, mainly because action oriented stuff that drag for more than one season tend to drag for long and I already have Bleach in that area. One DBZ clone is enough for one time

. I mean, we already know most of the stuff and the like and there doesn't seem to be much left in terms of story to warrant a full second season, although it can spark the creation of some OVA. I'm particularly interested in that Silver fellow that caused Margery to be a Flame Haze.

Yeah well, but isn't that a bit lame, you know, villains retreating after their whole season plan fails in the last episode? And then trying something else, and then retreating again and again. This can keep up forever.

That's good to hear, but it'll be a big project, just reading through them all is taking me forever. ^^;

I fear that many of the special terms (and as we know, there are tons in this series) may get butchered though...
