Just done with the 9th invitationals and I won 3rd place in the Sci-fi vehicle category with my YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie. I was also so close to getting in the top 3 with my Gundam pilot figures on the figure category. I'm gonna post all the gunpla images tomorrow (so tired).

Thanks.

Sadly, just a certificate. The ones who were crowned the champions were the ones who got trophies. At least it's a way to motivate us to aim for the top in the next invites next year.

Just as a general question. Would the tallgeese III, look good with gundam treatment? I mean more so then the II that is... I was thinking of using the face and a few other pieces, with cast parts from the real grade MkII. Make a custom core, shoulders.

Um the kit seems fine to me unpainted......no all grey strike packs as you guys thought.......... Still a bad kit imo though lol, though it is cheaper than buying all 3 HG kits separately |

Well, I've read that this release will come with its own weapon that no MG Zaku has? I'm wishing for more of course. If it doesn't, then that will make me sad. Nevertheless, I'll still get it. For Trans Am kits, yes, they're just recolors of the original, but it's something which I can't achieve without using airbrush and I'm not planning to buy one ever (I think). Also, the clear parts, it's impossible without recasting.

I honestly dont mind though lol, its good practice for a guy like me (I cant hold brushes steady at all while attempting to paint), but then again I got 2 NGs for that (Freedom and Justice lol....need to get better versions of those kits...perhaps RGs....If I wasnt so afraid of the small parts)

To be honest I am still rather disappointed about the Perfect Strike though. With all that new technology available they still chose to mold the new parts like an old HG so it will need TONS of painting. I have nothing against painting a few details but this just makes them look like cheap money grabbing bastards. |

I can’t really tell since I don’t have many HGs that has a lot on their backs. The closest thing to HG Perfect Strike might be my HG Destiny, and mine can stand and pose with base-stand just fine even with the WoL attached.

Generally speaking, I would assume the HG Perfect Strike would be a little back heavy. It just looks like that from the pictures.
I would suggest you get an Action Base 2 to display the kit. Hell, I suggest you get an Action Base with all kits regardless.. =D . . . If we get a MG Wing Gundam Zero (TV), do you think that Bandai might also do a MG Wing Gundam Zero (EW) Remaster version along with a new SD release?

^ Yup, I’ve seen your pics now. And your Valkyrie is epic! Even though it’s kinda “too busy” for my tatse, it’s stil nice to look at since imo you basically only concentrated on two major color (black & blue) while the rest are markings/decals(?) I guess. Btw, did you made those markings yourself or just took what’s included in the kit? As for my favorite, I gotta say that SD model on your shelf that you painted gold and silver. I’m not really familiar with Sengoku SD kits so I don’t know what you customized from it but it looks cool.
