Still kinda feel like they should'a kept it and used it for say.... fights with the GRAD where they instead just re-used "Rules of Nature" honestly~

It's not like it wasn't something all of us would have known already if you looked at the patched trophy/achievement list.

There's no real spoilers in that specific video either. No plot exposition and no characters we haven't already seen.

Sooo... finally got around to beating the Sam DLC, then again with a No Damage Hard Run for the trophy...

I'll take a break for now, but I'll eventually get back to it for the Under 1 Hour Revengeance Run to complete my trophies~

Sam feels like playing as Knuckles in Sonic & Knuckles. He is different from Sonic but the game feels a lot harder since Sam has a short parry. Sure some of his moves are like Vergil from DMC3 but Vergil had a good defense. Still, this really helps to make the DLC like a completely different experience. While Raiden plays like a ninja, Sam plays like a samurai which kind of makes sense why Raiden is more balanced. I'm more curious about how Wolf will play.

The air combos are pretty good but they can get really impractical. The lack of Offensive Defensive makes the final boss a lot harder since the enemy's special moves are harder to dodge.

^ Oh gooood.... and there'd be the time where you'd dodge it, but he'd somehow do a quick circle and hit you just as your dodge ends~

SOGESNAKE NEW WORLD BABY~! Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Raftel Age: 32	Sooo... finally got around to beating the Sam DLC, then again with a No Damage Hard Run for the trophy... Spoiler for Somewhat spoilers maybe...: My god... for the first hour or so.... Sam will be REALLY goddamn hard to learn since your so used to Raiden. He's slow, his ninja run doesn't auto-mount obstacles, his parry isn't as long, his perfect parry's reach is short.... aaaaaaaand it doesn't help that all the enemies in the DLC are 300% more aggressive than they are in the main story... meaning they will keep attacking at you no matter what, and things like the Gecko don't have anymore instant kill oppurtunities like they used to. On the plus, Sam's Quick Draw tree is pretty in depth in my opinion... meaning you can somewhat adapt to anything... not to mention Taunting enemies makes it so they take about 200-300% more damage (this killing the generic soldiers in one swipe, FOX Blade style~). And oh my gooood... a No Damage Run on Hard Armstrong.... I figured since I've done an easy Revengeance Armstrong No Damage run in the main game that I'd have no problems... well, those new moves of Armstrong's shut me up pretty fast... and taunting him is a BAD idea, since you won't be able to block his attacks while he's Raged, since you'll take chip damage... story for the DLC is alright... doesn't FULLY explain Sam's motives... but gives you somewhat of an idea of what he's dealt with. I'll take a break for now, but I'll eventually get back to it for the Under 1 Hour Revengeance Run to complete my trophies~ __________________
