Slice of life/Romance that'll bring tears!

I just finished watching Itazura na Kiss and I REALLY like it!! I wanted more but unfortunately there are only 25 episodes .

I'm looking for something that is a nice slice of life romance and/or similar to Itazura na Kiss. I find that I really enjoy anime that brings tears to my eyes, so that's always a plus.

Some romance that I've seen and enjoyed (that I can think of right now; top 3 are in bold):

Ef - a Tale of Memories
True Tears
H20 ~ Footprints in the sand
REC
Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora
5 Centimeters per Seconds
Clannad
Honey and Clover
Myself; Yourself
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien
Suzuka
Kimikiss Pure Rouge

I'm starting His and Her Circumstances right now.

Air, brought a tear to my eye many times :*(

Great anime, about a man searching for a "winged girl in the sky" and comes to a small town, where he decides to stay for awhile.
I cried at about 5 or more times in the anime, truly a great one

I havn't watched many slice of life/romances but Air truly is great

The ones that aren't bold aren't a slice of life.

Nodame and Lamune aren't exactly sad, but both of them are good (Nodame especially), and I second both Nana and AIR.

Should I watch Da Capo before I watch Da Capo II? Is the first one good too?
They sound interesting I'll have to check it out.

I should have said that I've seen Air, I kind of lumped it in with Clannad and I've also seen Kanon (both series).

I've heard Nana was good, and it's on my list of "to watch" but maybe I'll bump it up the list.

Nodame cantabile looks pretty good, I'll have to try it out. Does the second season look promising?

Lamune sounds really good! I'm going to start this one as soon as I can get it!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'm always looking for Anime if anyone else has anymore suggestions!

edit: I've heard that Full Moon Wo Sagashite was REALLY sad, any thoughts?

Da Capo and Da Capo II are pretty much the same show with different characters. They're both typical harems, and i liked them equally. It would make sense to watch Da Capo before Da Capo II, but it isn't an absolute must.

I'm not exactly sure about tears but I second Nodame Cantabile for being great. It did give me lots of tears...of laughter.

Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! is not exactly slice-of-life, but it's "life."

The most moving romance anime for me was a little six episode OVA called Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu. It starts cute then goes for your heartstrings in the second half.

You heard right. Full Moon O Sagashite is very sad. I seriously freaking bawled when I watched/read it. The anime is 52 episodes long, and the ending is a little different from the manga (it was still publishing when the anime wrapped up), but I didn't mind.

So yeah, if you can't tell, I highly recommend it. Since you're looking for a series that'll tug at your heartstrings, this one would be perfect for you. :>

Bokura ga Ita
Wild Act
Paradise Kiss
Ayashi no Ceres
Fushigi Yuugi
Mars
Kare Kano
Absolute Boyfriend
The Devil Does Exist
Kare First Love
Marmalade Boy
High School Debut
Peach Girl
Akuma De Sourou
Sand Chronicles
Happy Hustle High
Missile Happy!
Sailor Moon

These manga series have couples dating and in emotional relationships with break ups, lots of kissing, sex, drama, marriage, engagements, pregnancies and emotions run high.

The manga versions of Fushigi Yugi and Ceres Celestial Legend are much longer and better than the shows.

These have couples dating and in committed relationships.

Most of these are manga series.

The Peach Girl manga is much more mature than the show.

Mars is the most realistic and emotional romance manga. The couple is boyfriend and girlfriend and dating and in a relationship during the series, living together, engaged and in a deep, passionate relationship. Sex, rape, suicide, break ups, marriage and many realistic and serious issues are dealt with.

Kare First Love has a couple that is dating and boyfriend and girlfriend and in a relationship the entire series with lots of kissing and sex. The manga is great.

The Devil Does Exist is a great manga with a couple in a committed relationship.

Fushigi Yugi manga has the couple engaged and dating in a deep, passionate, committed relationship.

Ceres Celestial Legend has a couple that is dating, living together, having sex, making out in hotel rooms and in an emotional relationship. The manga shows them as a couple much longer. There is lots of sex and a pregnancy. Very dark and emotional manga, the show cuts out most of it.

Wild Act is an amazing romance manga. The couple is boyfriend and girlfriend, having sex, dating and in a deep relationship.

Nice list, but I'd have to disagree with you on KGNE. It wasn't tearjerking/kanashi (kanashi means sad)/romantic at all They've portrayed women as low-life baitas (baita means whores), which I don't really see as ロマンチック (romanized as romanchikku, which obviously means romantic XD). It made me rage, hard. Then also, the ending made me fall asleep. What a whole load of forced melodrama bullshit.

But yeah, apart from KGNE, your other choices are genuine.

My list would be the same, but the top would be 秒速5センチメートル then 雲のむこう、約束の場所, finally, probably 半分の月がのぼる空.

よろしく~ ^^
