There is a distinct difference between what is endured in small quantities for practical reasons and what is activly permitted.

I think the phrase would be "we strongly discourage it". If you can restrain yourself, then do so. If you can't, chances are you probably can't restrain yourself from doing other things, that we will quickly take action against.

wohh that was just a random question moderator sama

Well I'm kinda used to not being able to do it so I should have no problem restraining myself. still in special cases when I'm very frustrated at current direction of the manga could get me into that swearing mood but it will be just against the direction and not against any members so don't worry. I been around I know how stuff works so we are cool bro .

P.s and you sure as hell have hell a lot of rules around here. Still thanks goodness you don't have disruptive posting violation like on that other site. That would be just horrible to have around.

A small doses of f-bombs for emphasis never hurts anyone

There's also the vague line between what are actual vulgar and what are words/expressions for expressing your hate on something (eg. "it sucks").

Go to a site like http://imageshack.us/ and just copy/paste the code they give them.

The code you're looking for is [img]http://url/to/your/image.jpeg[/img]

Or simply right click the image you want to post and go to either 'Properties' or 'View Image Info'. Copy the location of the image, and then add the [img][/img] tags at either end, as shown in felix's post.

One might want to be careful with this, specially when you are copying links from other sites that are almost always against hotlinking. I also suggest to do what felix mentions and upload images directly from the ones on your own folders.

(a) sometimes doesn't work
(b) sometimes it works but temporarly and you're image is replaced usually by either a warning or troll image
(c) when it works, posting it to a high traffic site like this is usually is incentive to apply anti-hotlink policies (eventually)
(d) he's asking for instructions on posting his own works
(e) you are automatically a jerk when you do it

Fair enough. I use my method for when I'm reffering to an image in a post someone has made, say for example a particular signature amongst other sigatures. Rather than wade through all of the links using the quote tool, I can select which image I need using my method.

If that makes any sense at all. Points duly noted nontheless.

Like felix said go to ImageShack upload your pictures there than simple click on it (View full size) and when the pic is opened on new window you just click again on pic and select ''Copy Image Location''. Than you'll notice this small icon above where you write your posts, click on it than simple go 'paste' on it than 'ok' and than you should have your pic posted here.

Also have in mind that ImageShack at least to me want upload pics which are above 500kb. If this hapenes to you than I simple recomend you to use some of this other sites for uploading pictures.

TinyPic
Free Image Hosting.net
Photobucket

Sorry for bothering everyone with a reply like this But I hope it helps
