update

v2 of my current sig. made it a bit darker. added a few gradient maps. will wear it soon

tested out some of the C4D packs I've downloaded. So a C4D whoring tag

Neptune vert. tag. I probably over-colored this, but I think it came out good lol.

TEXTLESS. ALL OF THEM. ROFL

First, the V2, personally I do prefer the first one because of the colors feel a little desaturated on V2 but tuning down the brightness at the bottom was the right idea.
About the second sig ( the C4D tag), my first though was than the C4d's should had be blended together a bit more but than I wondered if it was not intended to be so as the reddish one are much blurred as if they are I front of the sig and the rest at the bottom.
I do like the Neptune oneeven if I have pretty much nothing to say about it

Isn't it most of the time especially given the small number of comments much update of any of us get ?
Fan-fiction and original texts seem to get more presence on the forum while photoshop users seem to be in dropping number now.

I see, Thank you!
I'll edit it again when I'm not doing anything.

yes, that was intentional. It was supposed to create depth. Maybe I should've added more to create an illusion

Indeed. Which is too bad.
This forum used to have a lot of graphic artists. I suppose they're busy from real life stuff.

It's nice enough. The depth is optimal IMO, quality is top notch. The colors might be a bit clashing, seeing how the character is red/green/brown/yellow and the C4D blue. A tip might be to use at least one of the character's colors on the C4D a tad bit, not a whole lot. That might make it clash less.

Lacks depth (lol i say this too much), though the numbers helps. It doesn't actually NEED much depth now that I think of it. The colors are also much better, though feels a bit washed out if you catch my drift (blue+white often has this effect.) Light feels good as well.

well, I added the blur so it wouldn't look too flat.
I colored the C4Ds violet
well, I used Rise's (the render) hair for the color of the blurred C4D. should I have colored the background C4D the same? I felt it would've look too monochromatic if I did

well, can you suggest a gradient that would the "washed-out" look?

... You know what, you can ignore me. It's fine at a second look, and I didn't actually notice the hair. Good call.

...It might have something to do with the fact I'm colorblind on several spectrums.

I'd suggest playing around with Gradient Maps, contrast and Hue & Saturation (if you're using PS). Those are my go to methods for this problem.

I forgot to say "remove" but I think you knew what I meant

Very nice. Second one is the better one, it has more vibrance thanks to the gradient, and the character+C4Ds doesn't clash, fitting very well together. Very good lightning and depth as well.

Only negative might be it's too bright around the character, but IMO, it works fine.

A interesting update, especially for the technique used for the background, it really help to give a flow to the work. On a personal note, I think you could had saturated a little the colors.

The technique isn't mine though. I just borrowed it from the tutorial

Saturate the colors, got it. Now that you mention it, the sig's colors do look pretty bright. I'll consider it, thanks!

I can have a friend of mine render it since I have zero rendering skills
you'll have to wait a bit though for me to finish the sig, is that ok?
also, do you want a specific canvass?
or I'll just do whatever I can as long as it's AS safe?

I guess AS safe is a must... I dunno my ideal text should be "Chaotic Date" also something magical as a theme...And Its ok to wait for the sig for a bit of time.. Thanks though.

Like what I said on your VM,

again your depth lighting is really on a pro-level...

Hopefully you'll update more often ... to be able to see some fantastic work from you frailty-sempai!

It's a nice signature you made here, I would probably add a little more color saturation and contrast but it's probably a question of taste.
