In chapter 317, im really confused...... Gaara crushed deidara's left arm n Kakshi shot off deidara's right arm......

Deidara's arm r bak n intact in manga 317...

What happend???

We don't know yet. It could be that one of the Akatsuki members is very skilled at medical jutsu. But it's more likely that Deidara's arms (or maybe his whole body) aren't flesh and blood and therefore can be repaired or regenerated. False arms would also explain why Deidara hardly seems to feel any pain from having his limbs hacked off and why he doesn't pass out from severe blood loss.

maybe his hands are made out of clay or something, since he uses clay to attack and stuff.

Well, actually Deidara was looking for his arms after the fight, so I would assume he needs them in order to be healed.

Well it cant be helped if he was really a new member and didnt know about the forum rules. But Then again in the sticky ( even the titile of one of the stickies) it talks about that.

Well If he didnt know about the rules and was too careless or lazy to check on the rules i guess it cant be help. Hopefully he wont do it again

have any of you seen the latest filler anime episode? they show medical ninjas repairing a body's limbs using a special jutsu. they don't show the actual body, but you see a bunch of doctors just shifting their hands on the corpse. so, although filler episodes aren't considered very valid, there seems to be a way to reconnect human tissue using ninjutsu. but yeah, the way deidara fussed about finding his ring would indicate that it has more value than his arms. so that kunoichi akatsuki must be a superb medical ninja (presumably better than tsunade).

Lee's hand and leg were crushed by Gaara and he is fine now.

Lee's crushed hand and leg were saved only by an extremely risky surgery that had a 50% chance of success even when performed by a top med-nin like Tsunade. Deidara's injuries were more severe as his arms were completely torn off. So either Akatsuki's medical ninja is on a level never seen before, or Deidara is able regenerate/repair damage to his limbs.

I would say its a good possibilty he can regenerate limbs with the use of his techniques. Its obvious they are teasing us by showing his limbs get blown off twice, with no consequence. If there were some superb medical nin in the group, they might have another character get injured the same, and have them ok again. But instead it seems its just Deidara.

Lee's arm and leg were fine after 5th fixed them up ... he had a totally different problem with his SPINE after his fight with Gaara. It seems that bone fragments had been broken off of his spine and were interfering with his spinal cord, which was what the extremely risky surgery that he had to have was about.

I'm fairly sure that a decent medical ninja can re-attach a severed limb using their special techniques, or stimulating some sort of re-growth to replace lost limbs...

Really? I'd never heard of this. After his match against Gaara, the med-nin who evaluated Rock Lee's crushed leg and arm said that he'd never be able to function as a ninja again, indicating that there was no conventional method to completely heal his injuries. How did the spinal injury occur, seeing how Desert Coffin specifically targeted Lee's arm and leg? Can someone confirm this and give me the chapter/episode where it's mentioned?

However I've come to the conclusion that if Rin, who was a chuunin-level ninja, was able to perform an eye transplant, then replacing limbs is a definite possibility in the Naruto universe. It just seems to me that Akatsuki is more of a "If you die or get seriously injured, then you were too weak/stupid in the first place" organization and they wouldn't waste time with a medical specialist.

really off topic here, but by looking at miss rave's avatar, doesn't it seem like kishimoto changed kurenai a bit? her face doesn't seem as oval anymore.
but yeah, it may very well be a teaser thing. i really hope that the arm situation is explained though. because i specifically remember deidara mentioning that he lost one arm for good. so that makes me wonder why they didn't find a replacement for him. i mean, a fighter missing an arm is going to be weaker. i don't care how many people argue otherwise; it doesn't make senes.
