My biggest problem with this episode is they basically turned off Ranka's character, and made her into a plot device. She's not even getting a chance to make a difference on her own. And what the hell is up with Bresra? First I thought he was mindless, but he obviously had his personality back, even wanting to protect Ranka again before the episode was over.

Have been. "Ai ga oboete imasu ka?" was sung during the rain scene with Sheryl. "Watashi no kare wa piloto" was sung during Miss Macross contest.

I think everyone gets their long awaited countless NUNS deaths this episode. It just seemed that little bit more intense than any other episode.

I forgot how amazing DYRL can be at the right moment too.

It's also the english title/translation of the song Ai Oboete Imasuka

Do You Remember Love, or Ai Oboete Imasu ka. You know, the song that Ranka sings at the end of the deculture edition of episode 1 and a few other times in the series, and Lynn Minmay sings in the final battle of the DYRL movie.

Haha yeah, all the other Macross series show lots of fighters being destroyed en masse exept this one
