Yeah, Mea really ddin't need to go through the trouble of shooting a beam to interrupt them. She's new, she doesn't know that in TLR, those kind of situations always end up with someone interrupting or Rito pushing the girl away (in this case, it was both ). Speaking of Rito, I'm surprised he didn't barge in on Yui changing. Is he losing his mojo?

Fufu~ Mikan noticed Momo's tail and she suspects she's behind this. Can't wait until she confronts her about it :3

Things I find interesting in this chapter (I'm really on fire right now with Kimi no Iru Machi and this got translated and released at the same hour)

Spoiler for Chapter 4:

1. Momo is like a Cupid. No, Momo is a Devil Cupid. She puts situations for Rito to act and activate "Flags" for himself. I like how Yabuki is developing the story.
2. Rito is a real gentleman. Completely opposite of Tomoki in Sora no Otoshimono. But still I find him manly enough to say his mind. (He said he wanted to do it, yes shameless things, a little surprising. He is becoming a REAL MAN.
3. Yui, oh my, I love how she's not as strict as always, and put on the moves on Rito without any "It's shameless" remarks. Deredere is Oh So GOod. She's also thinking that she has so many rivals now that.....
4.Kurosaki Mea is making some moves that will clearly define the story. Plot in To-LOVE-Ru? YES. FUCKING YES.
5. Before I forgot, Mikan is again suspecting something.... which means...

6. I want my Mikan chapter NEXT!!!

Well, it shouldn't surprise me that they didn't go all the way. Mea's master is probably, SOMEONE HIRED BY THOSE WHO PROPOSED THE MANGA BAN IN OSAKA AND TOKYO! But at least there was a huge progress with Yui. Is Kuro coming back? Cause that's the only character I think matches the master's description. Also, can someone explain to me the different types of dere and what they mean? Cause I only know Tsun, and not the others like Gou, Dere, and so on.

Much like what Mikan had said sometime before, this chapter more than any other really shows that Rito himself is quite the player. Sure, Momo paved the pathway into all those happy situations with Yui, but he was the one saying all the right things at just the right time. And is it just me, or did Rito actually grow taller? Since he's always been around the same height as the rest of the girls from his age group.

Yui's 'shameless' confession was done real nicely, and this should remove any doubts on where she stands exactly in regards to the whole harem plan. Pure vanilla for the moral rep, not willing to share and desiring Rito all for herself.

About Mea, I think it's safe to say that she's definitely a more technological, advanced nanotech model in comparison to her sister. Something like the Terminator movies where Yami would be like the end boss of T2 while Mea would be from T3 with her high-end weaponry. This also makes me wonder why and for what purpose the Master actually needs Yami for if this were really the case.

1. Momo is the best cupid ever! She was so damn awesome in this chapter. First time I see a girl so excited, and even aroused, by the thought of her lover getting it on with someone else in this sort of manga.
2. I was very surprised he acknowledged he's interested in sex. He's just made a giant leap forward. I feel like he's evovled more in 4 chapters of Darkness than in 18 volumes of TLR.
3. She's finally being honest with her feelings! I thought this day would never come. She was even the one putting the moves on him (with a little help from Momo). Once again, a huge leap forward.
4. Mea, as a character, is also awesome. It's also partly thanks to her that Yui accepted her feelings for Rito as something natural rather than dirty/shameless. Momo and her would make a deadly team. Seems like a new character will show up next chapter. Wonder if it'll be someone we know from BC, or just a fodder.

You bring up a very good point. Why does the Master wish for Yami to join them if she can create more advanced human weapons? Maybe Mea has a defect, llike a short lifespan or something along those lines, and she needs to study Yami a bit more in order to fix her.

Haven't read it yet but I have a question. Did anyone else think the color cover spread with Yui didn't really look like Yabuki drew it? I mean, have her eyes always been orange? Plus her face seemed a little smaller than usual. That or her hair looked bigger.

Of course I'm not an artist so I'm not the best judge, that's just how it looked to me.

Glad to hear there's a good development with her in the chapter though.
