Yup. Natsumi pushed her grandma to the floor, multilated the body, stabbed her father in the neck, then mum died too... her perception of reality was altered due to the effects of the Hinamizawa Syndrome. And about Akasaka... he probably meant to ask if she understood what really happened...

Himatsubushi has two EDs:
- Right path: When Akasaka chases the kipnapper, if you don't chose top-right, he's dead.
- Left path: You should play from the beginning, and chose: Left - Top - Left - Top-right, you will get happy end with all CGs.

Since it's really hard for me to keep up with things like this...

I have a question for the manga version of Watanagashi-hen, but only for the first volume, since that's the only one I have right now. I get really confused about Shmion...After Shion is introduced, there are quite a few points in the manga where I can't tell if the present girl is Mion or Shion. There are a few points where I think it's either Mion or Shion, but I need confirmation. So, for each of the following points in the manga, could someone tell me if it's Mion or Shion who's there?
1. (Chapter 2) Keiichi's first trip to Angel Mort, where he sees Shmion. I think this is Shion, but I'm not sure.
2. (Chapter 2) When Shmion brings Keiichi a lunch. I think this is Shion, but I'm not sure.
3. (Chapter 3) Shmion comes and saves Keiichi from the thugs. I have no idea which one this is.
4. (Chapter 3) Shortly after the thugs incident, when Keiichi and Shmion are talking about the dam project.
5. (Chapter 4) When all the otaku guys came to Angel Mort, and there was the 'incident' with Shmion. I think this might be Shion, but I need some confirmation.
6. (Chapter 4) This one really confuses me. After the Angel Mort thing, when Shmion wants Keiichi to buy the doll for her. I could see Shion asking for one so she could give it to Mion, but when it switches to Shmion's POV for a moment, she thinks: "This time...I want him to see me as a girl." That makes it sound like Mion would be saying it. However, it seems as though Shion said that, because the other twin shows up a few moments later, and she's working at the toy store (therefore, she seems to be Mion.) So...could someone please explain all that to me?

That portion with the flashback to Rena/Mion's phonecall and the part about "Seen as a girl" is in Keiichi's head (Text disconnected from word bubbles are inner thoughts in this series) are all Keiichi internally realizing what Rena was trying to tell him earlier about what Mion wanted. Shion liked teasing her sister but in this scene I think she was actually trying to help her by guiding Keiichi to understanding that he'd hurt Mion. In other words, Mion really was the one working at the shop, there was no trick here.

7. (Chapter 5) At the Watanagashi festival, when Keiichi and Shmion meet Jirou and Miyo.

I won't answer this one as it's the last chapter of the book and you haven't moved on yet. But if you must know...

Yes, it's Shion who meet with them at the end of the volume.

Edit: All of these are correct for the Manga. I can say with certainty.

Edit 2: In the scene with Mion and Keiichi on the date, she probably did say the part about wanting the doll but not about "Being seen as a girl". Shion's motives were to harass/tease Mion here, she knows that her sister likes Keiichi.

1.This is Shion since it's mainly her introduction towards the entire series.
2.That is Mion she wanted to get close to Keiichi to, be recognized as a girl from him, and by disguising herself as her sister whom Keiichi thought of as more womanly.
3.I'm unsure on this one
4.Again this is Mion, since she was more involved in the dam project while Shion was still in her school in the whilst of it
5.At first it's Shion, but the next day when Keiichi devises a plan to help her it's Mion.
6.It's actually Mion, the twins devised a plan since Shion wanted to help Mion to be recognized as girl to Keiichi due to him giving the doll to Rena that resulted into Mion becoming upset, and from when she told Shion about it that's when they decided to switch around with Keiichi.
7.That is Shion, in chapter 6 it's revealed that Shion asks Keiichi again at a fountain disguised as Mion to cover up her tracks.

I don't know If you want an explanation, or looking for that post itself, but I'll try to give you a correct answer, I may be wrong at some points.

Both Rika and Miyo are toys of two powerful witches, Frederica Bernkastel and Lambdadelta. They are just playing a game to defeat each other, and Rika is Frederica's (notice how it sounds very close to Furude Rika) and Miyo is Lambdadelta's toy. (Lambda is 3, and Delta is 4 in Latin I think, and Miyo can also be read as 3 and 4 respectively, in one of the Japanese alphabets.)

The reason why Rika is resurrecting over and over is Witches (or at least Bernkastel) can resurrect a person as many time as they want, and thus the worlds repeat until she wins. And as you see at the end of Higurashi no Naku koro ni Rei, Bernkastel goes to Miyo's past and prevents her parents from dying in the accident, enabling Miyo never to start researching Hinamizawa Syndrome, thus saving Rika from her horrible fate.

Those are the info that I've gathered when I played up to Episode 2 on Umineko no naku koro ni Visual Novel. Some info may be flawed.

You are correct about that information being flawed (and not just some of it).

Read these: Lambdadelta's Diary, Bernkastel's Letter, Anti-Mistery x Anti-Fantasy

Takano was simply ΛΔ's (λ is 30 and δ is 4 in Greek not Latin numerals; the Greek numbering system is not positional) pawn, however Bernkastel was created out of Rika and thus is an outgrowth of her. The relationship of these two set of characters is completely different. And Rika is never revived; Hanyuu (not Bern) simply transfers her memories to another world.

And Rika is never really saved from her fate as Bern changes a completely separate world. Only the Rika in the sinless world of Saikoroshi-hen is freed from that fate. Besides if Bern had changed all the worlds, then there would have been a time paradox as Bern would have never been created.
