I had to major LOL at this god i had to drop that show XD.

The art looks really nice in the anime form I can't wait to see how it will all hold out together. The manga was slow paced but at least added to the atmosphere.

Have you try Onemanga? I believe they have the chapters, it's kinda slow though.

Let's see, there's a new little article about that Gackt fellow and Shiki. I still don't know what's so great about this dude.

A few updates:

- New key illustration on the website, Muroi's turn.
- OP: Kuchizuke by BUCK-TICK. (lolwut, the GazettE for Kuroshitsuji II then this, is this the season of Visual Kei or something?)
- ED: Walk no Yakusoku by nangi.
- A TV CM can be seen on the official website. The usual 15 seconds, so you can just quickly hear the voices and the OP, but this is enough to get me excited. Ao-chan, Tomacchan, the guys, they all sound great.

Apparently there's going to be some sort of episode preview on the 27th.
EDIT: Yep, 32 second preview available now.

FYI: A sidebar ad on Funi's blog page says that Shiki will begin simulcasts Thursday, July 8. No start time is mentioned though. [web page]

Absolutely nothing, you are missing nothing.

I thought it was a bit odd for Funi to start licensing stuff don't they have enough stuff to still translate like some back log?

It's more likely they got the scripts and were working on them ahead of time like say a few months before the announcement.

I hope that Funi doesn't interfere with fansubs or the raws for tomorrow.

? What do you mean interfere? If you mean send C&Ds to other people who are hosting fansubs (especially the ones that rip Funimations subtitles and since they'll come out only an hour after Japan I foresee a lot of this) then they have every right to do so. Especially for the Funi rips, at least fansubbing requires work and time, people who rip Funi or CR streams should be banished to the far side of 4chan.

They'll turn off the internet for sure. Or at least all the torrent trackers.

/sarcasm

To be fair, there could be other reasons they need a fansub such as language. However the 1 hour approach is definitely the right way to combat english fansubs.

For the record, I do know that the Funimation simulcasts are pretty limiting (heck, I'm not sure if Canada gets them since Funi likes to use the hulu player) so I understand why a lot of fans will have to see this fansubbed. That's still no reason for Funi rips and they still have a legal right to send C&Ds but unless the world un-regionizes I don't see a lot of hope for this problem soon.

Why does everyone attack what ever I say with sarcasm and general hostility? I am NOT talking about Funi rips, those are just dumb and I am talking about lawyers coming after fansub sites and stuff.
