Well, even as a kid she was cutting down slavers while dualwielding full-sized swords. I suppose she could handle tough jobs for her age, adults allowing.

Besides, it's just a breastplate and set of pauldrons. Kid-sized and nonmagical. How expensive could they be? The S-class money is for stockpiling magical and designer armors.

They should realize she would make a good spokesperson and just make it for her for free and use her for their advertisements.

It also speculates that there will be a lot of stories about things that happen during the 7 year time skip... But frankly I can't see the anime abandoning ALL of its main and even secondary characters for a long period of time. Would they really dare to have an entire arc about Laki or Visitar? It's nice to have stories about side characters, but that's when you at least have some of your main characters around. So I'm frankly wondering myself what's gonna happen .

They'll probably do 12-20 episodes of filler. The anime is way, way, way to close to the manga at this point. They need to create some space.

- flashback arcs with Erza, Natsu, Laxus, Raijin Tribe, Gildartz, etc. back when they were children in Fairy Tail.

"Fairy Tail 5-7 years ago."

- flashback episode between Lucy and her mom. Flashbacks between Lucy and her dad. Lucy's life 5-7 years ago.

- side stories involving Exceed's search for a new place to settle down

- arcs involving the other guilds

- the tower of heaven trio's adventures in foreign lands

- side stories involving any Fairy Tail member up until the time the Tenrou Jima Arc ends but not before Cana or Laxus come under the care of Makarov (since they're the first in Natsu's age range to join the guild).


Just think "History of Konoha" arc from Naruto: Shippuden.

What I wouldn't count on:

- I doubt they'll delve into stories in between this arc and the next arc. They'll save these tales for the next round of filler.

- Team Makarov stories from Makarov's youth. Makarov's adventures may have their own manga arc.

- Flashbacks with the Dragons. Because they are supposed to remain veiled in mystery for now.

Yep, they made the final stretch against Hades a bit better by making Hades actually try to put up a fight instead of just getting slapped around. And they gave Capricorn more interaction with Lucy. And to think Elfman even has Laxus's approval to date Evergreen or something...

All in all, this was a good way to end the fight. But the previews clearly show that there's still some $#!t that will be hitting the fan.

Thanks to team Exceed for saving the day. Also didn't expect Ultear to restore the tree. Wonder what Meldy will do now. Lol what Hades wanted all along snuck aboard the ship. Wonder how that will be resolved. Second half had a lot of funny moments. Though best part was Erza.

Ah, great finish to the fight, and we even got a serious lecture afterward but the aftermath was HILARIOUS! I kept rewinding the ep through the Erza parts - she really is comedy GOLD given form. Declaring a 'healing battle' against Wendy ... XDDD

Everyone had great comedy in the 2nd half - it was fantastic. It didn't seemed forced in anyway, the laughs just kept building on top of each other.

Well Makarov treats her like his own god-daughter. I get that Wiki's may not always be correct, but according to Fairy Tail's wikia

"he viewed Erza as sort of the daughter he never had. Because of this favoritism, Erza became unquestionably loyal to him"

Which was what convinced me. Anyway's, it's just armor so yeah. :3

I thought the conversation between Makarov & Purehito was pretty darn amazing.

And Gildarts teasing Laxus .. he's really changed.

I liked how they added a little touches in the final battle unlike manga. Hades trying to cast Grimoire Heart before getting beat up for good made the fight more ''realistic'' to some extend. Aftermath was pretty funny, but Nurse Erza takes the cake. Who wouldn't get in line? XD

We were in too much shock of Nurse Erza not only stealing Wendy's patients, but even getting Makarov, Gildartz, and even Laxus in her line. XDD She's so damn good at the seducing...but following thru is just...

"Actual ability is not truly important in a battle. What is being tested is your heart."

"A-a battle, you s-say?"

"Hey! Don't be scaring Wendy like that!!"

Heh, you can really tell the people behind the anime have much love for this story. They really know how to expand on the manga and add in bits that are funny and interesting. And rather than make up episode after episode of filler, they add in their filler into the story itself. Both the final segment of the Hades fight, and the campy stuff after, were well done.

And I do like how Gray keeps wondering where Juvia is, and if she's okay. Looks like she is growing on him, heh...

Regarding the Hades fight, I think I actually like the anime version better. In the manga, it felt like he lost because his dark heart was destroyed. While in the anime it was still a major factor, it also added a bit more balance in making the fighting characters a strong factor as well.

And as for the studio love, Mashima is probably very involved in the planning as well. If you remember hiw his first work was handled, you can see why he's so into it.

Guess Erza didn't need a seduction armor after all! LOL @ the response from the guild...once again, the padding was very decent, Hades' last stand made things a bit more interesting, and the comedy is always welcome. Looking forward to the next episode!
